Quaint little spot with a fantastic team. Food is delicious and well priced! Will definitely come back. Had the Kimchi ramen and some pork dumplings. It was so good! Great portions as well.

The reviews are very positive for Tora-Ya Ramen, with dishes described as delicious, portions as generous, and the broth as flavorful. The service is often described as fast, polite, and efficient, and the atmosphere as friendly and warm. Some, however, mention a small dining room, waiting time, and a limited menu, so it’s best to plan for a little patience.
Reviews / Ratings for Tora-Ya Ramen - Restaurant japonais
Had a really good experience at Tora-Ya restaurant. The broth was flavorful and rich, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the portions were satisfying. The staff were friendly and service was quick even during busy hours. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, making it a nice place to enjoy a warm meal. Definitely a solid spot for ramen and I’d come back to try more dishes.
Very delicious and accommodated allergies with gluten-free noodles.
I wonder why I never gave a review before since it's my favorite ramen shop in town. It's the only place I can practice my Japanese since every staff seems to speaks it. The place is small but typical of that kind of place in Japan. The most authentic atmosphere and experience in Quebec city. The food is also delicious and very similar to what you would find in a ramen/Izakaya shop in Japan. I recommend it to everyone, I've been there multiple time in the past years.
Em…… be fair, I know what I was expecting when having any kind of food in tourist zone in Quebec, and I know the owner is a Japanese, and I lived in Japan, so….. not all Japanese people can make Japan quality ramen. Sorry, but probably the owner should go back to Japan more frequently to find the Japanese ramen memory back. What I had here was definitely not Japanese ramen, at least not from Tokyo or Osaka. ざんねん!
Delicious (similar to what you can taste in Japan) and kinds for the customer. However, it is famous and small area ( but feeling like I am in Japan), so need to accept the not enough space among tables, and the waiting time. Additionally, Hard to find parking lot.
Truly great place! Worth the wait!
🍜the best ramen in the city!!
