Cool layout and good coffee
Reviews / Ratings for Tommy Café
The café is very cute inside, we enjoyed sitting on the stools and watching the street outside. However the coffee and almond croissant were disappointing.
Very nice place to have a coffee and some food at, nice atmosphere, nice staff definitely worth the visit. Very good coffees!
Nice location for a short break 😏
a lovely spot for a coffee & sweet treat combo. so insanely busy i was worried i wouldnt find a seat whilst waiting in line to order, but luckily for me someone left as i ordered. i wish i ordered a proper meal as every time the staff walked these to guests i felt so envious. drinks were delish.
Stumbled upon Tommy Café during my first trip to Montreal last Saturday afternoon and honestly couldn't have picked a better spot to escape the cold. The latte was some of the best I've had — smooth, not bitter, and the barista clearly knew what they were doing. The space itself has this cozy exposed-brick vibe that made me want to linger way longer than planned. If you're visiting from out of town, do yourself a favour and skip the chain spots — this is the kind of place that makes you wish you lived around the corner.
Loved the coffee, sandwiches, service, friendly staff and ambience!!
The vibe inside was great. I only had a matcha latte with caramel syrup and it was alright, nothing to rave about. I hope to try new menu items next time I’m in the area!
A fabulous location for a Tommy's franchise in Montreal. Housed in a former bank building constructed in the early 20th century, it has architectural panache and is a gathering place for students and others in Old Montreal. Great coffee too, ana within walking distance of the Notre Dame Bassilica.
Food and service is great here! Croissant sandwich was amazing
Cute cafe for people watching and relaxing
Beautiful cafe with loads of comfortable seating options. The service was very kind and accommodating even during busy times. The avocado toasts are delicious and HUGE. Very easily shareable item. The bread they used was soft yet structured with the perfect amount of grill.
Excellent cafe very busy , a lot of choice ,fast service!!
Café really good, Cookie also
Tommy’s was our “go to” breakfast and brunch place during our stay in Old Montreal. Delicious food options for young children and adults, cool ambiance and friendly service. Be prepared for a short wait on weekends as it does seem to get extra busy.
This cafe is very very nice on the inside, I highly recommend studying here or having breakfast here because it is very lovely and busy! Their ice latte is sooo good, it’s not bitter and it’s sweet! The avocado toast is very big, I recommend that if you come in pairs to share it with one person, it’s also quite bland, but it’s a light and good breakfast to start your day with. The croissant egg avocado is yummy, and I liked the garden salad that came with it! The croissant adds flavour to the dish.
Genial
really good!
Love the vibe of the cafe. Their cafe late is so good too. If I lived in Montreal I see me hanging out here all the time.
Trandy place with good coffee and tasty sandwiches.
The coolest little cafe, very cosy and friendly right next to Notre-Dame with teas, coffees, pastries and sandwiches. A great hangout.
Pretty iconic location and decor. The building is in a cool neighborhood with old architecture. There is always a line poutside so that means it is popular. But at the same time it is always crowded and difficult to fins a seat. The coffee is very good. Food options are always limited and expensive. Overall very nice place but just a few small things I dont like about it. 4 out of 5 stars.
We absolutely loved having breakfast here! I had the classic avocado toast on gluten free bread with an egg on top and it was very, very good. My partner had the breakfast croissant sandwich which came with salad on the side and he really enjoyed it. We got chai lattes that were the perfect temperature and not too sweet. Tommy Cafe is a quirky place with a really nice vibe. Great to pop in for a hot drink or grab a pastry or a bite to eat. Seems very popular with locals and tourists alike. As a bonus I also got the gluten free lemon cake to take away and it was divine. We will definitely be returning!
Love the heritage look
The drinks and baked goods are decent and i would go again! The cafe itself is gorgeous and i love how the interior is decorated! The workers are really kind and make you feel welcomed. Really nice place to do your work or just relax.
