Very wow. The A5 Japanese wagyu was absolutely succulent. Sushi is very good and original. Location and atmosphere is discreet and calm. Service is warm and welcoming. Will definitely be back for more. Ate way more than I should have and don't regret it at all ;)

Tobiko was one of the best restaurants I have been to in a while. The service there was excellent. I didn’t get our servers name but she was beyond delightful and very kind. She knew a lot about the menu and made us feel extremely in place. We are anglophone individuals and didn’t make it seem like a problem at all. The food was amazing. We got the 3 meat platter with the sushi, escargot, calamari and a couple of drinks. Everything was delicious and flavourful. The sauces/dips pairing was excellent. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely unreal dining experience. I stopped in next door at the pick-up sushi spot as I was really just wanting a couple rolls. After a great conversation I was convince to just go sit down for a proper dinner at ToBiko, and man am I glad I did. The service was unreal! Very friendly and knowledgable. I had the filet mignon meal that came with a sushi roll and I upgraded and added the calamari. Every single bite was amazing as well as the sriracha and tarter sauces with the calamari and the garlic sauce with the steak, all so buttery with a creamy texture I have not had before. The steak was perfect and it was fun cooking each bite to the exact wellness I wanted while taking more time to enjoy dinner. All in all, 5+ stars for ToBiko. Thank you so much for the dining experience!

Hubby and I just got off the plane. We like to look for places to eat that we do not get to eat at when we are back at home in Alberta. We were warmly welcomed by Gabriel, who sat us a table of our choice quickly and briefed about the menu. Very knowledgeable and friendly, he recommended we try the kangourou. We started off dinner with the tuna tataki and escargot. It was delicious. We were excited to try as per Gabriel’s suggestion the Kangourou. We decided to share the 3 meats. 3 oz of each elk, filet mignon and of course the kangourou ( extra 3 oz of this one ) with sushi and it did not disappoint! The texture and delicate taste of the roll was just perfect. 👌🏻 Then for dessert, this deep fried ice cream sandwich coated in graham crackers with caramel, whipped cream and strawberries was the perfect end to one of the best culinary experience we have had in Gatineau EVER!! Will be back sooner than later to try other items of their menu. 💯 recommend!
