Food was great, particularly the duck which was excellent. Pisco sours are also excellent. Great, friendly service too

This place is absolutely delicious! Lively environment and we were lucky to sit where you could see the chef preparing the fish dishes in front of you (Shoutout to Eric, he was so friendly and his fresh fish dishes were next level). The ingredients are super fresh and the drinks are delicious. We will be back any time we find ourselves in Montreal!
Delicious food. Good drinks. Great service.
The terrasse was opne to the first really comfortable day of the year. I had no idea what to expect, but the food was ABSOLUTELY fantastic. Had the Pollo, the squid and the Ceviche. The pollo was well fried, not over fried, moist, and the sauce - delicious! The Squid... OH MY it was my favourite. Not chewy AT ALL, and cooked to a way where there was a slight crisp, paired with a slightly sweet purée. And the ceviche, WHAT A SURPRISE! The fish itself was super fresh, and there was like different types of corn. On their own there was this big corn type of vegetable that wasn't that great, but with a mouthful of all the ingredients together - so savory and with plenty of textures. The idea is you choose several plates and share. It was a fantastic dining experience for me, laid back but still with a almost gastronomy experience. The price of the plates themselves was very accessible (it was drinks for us that took a part of the bill ;) ) We were seated at the bar which ii the central piece, and people were milling about. The decor is fantastic - not overdone, a bit on the luxe side (velvet cushioned seating) but not overly. Really, really glad I tried here (I was here for work).
The food and drinks are just too notch here ! The ambiance is great, the staff is friendly. Always a pleasure dinning at this place !
We had a great night out. Food was amazing and loved the bar style setup.
Excellent food, fun vibe and perfect pit stop before a night out. Great location. Be ready to sit at a bar top. The drinks / menu feel true to the Peruvian theme in a tapas style.
A hidden gem in downtown Montreal. Entrance is obscured by purple curtains. Atmosphere was that of a lively bar. Spanish music playing and lots of happy locals. Food was excellent. Portions are on the smaller side, but tasty. Recommend trying their cocktail specialties, such as the traditional Pisco sour. Goes very well with the fried chicken traditional dish. They use habanero peppers generously, so the dishes are quite spicy. Seating are all stools. Walk-ins are welcome but reservations are recommended for the best spots by the windows.
This place was highly recommended and it did not disappoint! Lots of amazing tapas to try. All bar seating so you are in the action and it is fun! The bartenders/servers had fantastic suggestions. Best ceviche! You must go!
Tiradito is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and it’s easy to understand how it has become one of Montreal’s most beloved Peruvian destinations. The restaurant blends the spirit of a lively tapas bar with the finesse of contemporary gastronomy, all guided by Executive Chef Marcel Larrea, who delivers an explosion of flavors with every dish. The concept is distinctive: no tables, only counters wrapping around the room. It creates a vibrant, social atmosphere where the energy of the kitchen becomes part of the experience. 🍽️ The Food We sampled a selection of classics — ceviche, causa, chicharrón, yuca fries, cocktails and pisco. Each plate arrives like a piece of art: visually stunning, meticulously composed, and bursting with color. And the best part is that the taste fully lives up to the presentation. Ceviche: a masterclass in balance. The fish is silky and tender, contrasted by the crunch of the cancha corn, creating a refined interplay of textures. Causa: delicate and refreshing, with layers that reveal themselves gradually on the palate. Chicharrón: crisp, generous, and deeply satisfying, elevated by the chef’s Peruvian touch. Yuca fries: a more elegant and wholesome alternative to traditional fries, with a dense yet soft interior. Cocktails & pisco: expertly crafted, aromatic, and transporting — the kind of drinks that make you feel like you’re sitting somewhere tropical by the sea. At several moments, the flavors were so bright and evocative that I genuinely felt transported far from downtown Montreal. 🌟 Ambiance & Service The space is trendy, stylish, and perfect for impressing a friend, colleague, or date. The service is warm and efficient. 💸 Value For such a central location, the ambiance, and the level of culinary execution, the prices are surprisingly reasonable. You leave feeling like you’ve experienced something special without the bill becoming excessive. Bottom line: Tiradito remains one of Montreal’s standout ambassadors of Peruvian cuisine. A must‑visit for anyone looking to travel through flavor without leaving the city. This place has become one of our top restaurant spots in this city. Highly recommended. Great food, especially the salmon tartare, great drinks, great service. Only knocked 1 star off atmosphere because it was noisier than we like.
Cannot wait to come back !!!!
Tried this place a few minutes up the street from where I work and was not disappointed. The fusion of the dishes is Peruvian/Japanese and each dish was very flavourful and fresh. The cocktails we tried were very tasty and well presented. The same applies to the dishes, the plating was super well done. The staff was very friendly, definitely recommend this spot.
We had such high hopes for Tirdito, our experience was a bit of a mixed bag. Seating is done as bar tables, which whilst it gives a great view of your cocktails being made, isn't for everyone. Our cocktails were prompt and tasty. Dishes were brought out one at a time, hot first and then cold. The octopus and duck dishes were delicious, and the best part of our meal. The ceviche was oddly served in a bowl, the fish was a little too chunky to eat delicately and the accompaniments didn't seem to pair well. The crispy prawns were well overcooked, as being wrapped in filo, the pastry took longer to fry than the prawns did. A couple of times during service, we were handed dishes that we hadn't ordered, even though the restaurant only had a handful of tables and it took 4 attempts to be given our correct bill.

Super fun vibes and great food. The bartenders were working so hard
Been 3 times, every time food was great
Not a single dish we didn’t like! Everything was absolutely wonderful
We discovered Tiradito on our way to Old Montreal, everything we had was good and superb in presentation, the Pollo frito and Ceviche with Chicha Morada a must.
Ceviche and the octopus was amazing 👏
Great Peruvian place with excellent small dishes and good drinks!
The octopus is just amazing. Nice cocktails.
OMG.. everything was 10 on 10 💓💓 the food is really good and so does the vibes.
Very flavorful and delicious food, great drink and quick service. Will be back for sure, awesome place!
This was our second visit to Tiradito and it was just as good as the first. We tried to order different things and enjoyed them all. Quite a buzz, though a bit noisy for older people like us. We will be back!
