For a roadside snack shack, this is very high level. Now I'm in no way suggesting you won't enjoy any of the BBQ items from here, they're good, really they are! But the *reason* to make a special trip to the Tin Shack is the burgers. Juicy, well seasoned, melty cheese, perfectly cooked and just smashed enough to get those lovely crisp edges, high quality beef, well portioned, high quality toppings, good buns. This place makes a damn good burger. Among the best I've ever had. The fries are also good, the poutine portions are huge and the gravy and curds are flavorful. I've not had any of the chicken items on the menu but hear they're good too. The BBQ items (brisket, pulled pork, chicken, etc) are good and highly enjoyable, but while I can pretty confidently say you *can* get better BBQ in Vermont, I'm *not* sure theres a more enjoyable burger to be had. Man, those are good burgers! Owner/chef is sassy and fun, the covered outdoor dining space is clean and full of character, decent amount of parking. 5 star dining? No. (though the burger is good enough that if you had it in a fancy restraunt you'd be happy you did) elite-tier roadside snack shack? Yes.

Great place and delicious food, will be back!
Probably the best burger Ive bought from a restaurant in so long I dont remember when I enjoyed my lunch as much..
This is my absolute favorite place to eat😀
I especially loved the brisket!! I can't wait to have the loaded baked potato (with brisket)!!!!!
This is a gem - the tin shed exterior belies some mouth watering food. It’s take out only this time of year. The salt of the earth guy who runs the place is a total riot, very convivial and makes it an experience. The food is so good! We had the O smash burger and a chicken sandwich both hefty and 2 thumbs up, won’t leave you hungry. They come with fries and a drink. Wanted to try the maple fresh squeezed lemonade, saving that for next time.
Brisket poutine is excellent!
Very cool place! Cant wait to see it when the weather improves....Brisket BLT was superb! Sourdough bread crispy and buttery. Fresh lettuce and tomato with a parmesan dressing. Fries were fresh and salty. Overall a great spot with what looks like some great choices. Will be back to try the smash burgers!
Had the humpty dumpty, 1 of my top ten picks, and as usual it was cooked to perfection. When I asked for dessert he said sure and handed me his newest creation, a dirty soda, i know a strange name but it was fantastic 😀 😄
Excellent food!! Smash burgers and hand cut fries are awesome.
