terrible service by the hostess. did not even try to accommodate for us nor did they offer us the coat check. do not recommend.
Reviews / Ratings for Tiamo
We visited Tiamo on a weekday evening. Our first impression was positive. The hostess was welcoming and proactive in finding us a table despite our spontaneous visit. However, service was quite slow. We waited nearly 30 minutes before seeing our server, which felt unusually long and had us considering leaving. Fortunately, we were attended to shortly after. We ordered the Italian sausage pizza and the Mediterranean pizza. The dough was well-made and met expectations, but the overall experience was mixed. One pizza was enjoyable, while the other was let down by a canned-tasting tomato sauce that lacked depth and flavor. The ambiance and decor are beautiful, though the space is quite small with tables placed close together. In the evening, the music was fairly loud although still manageable for conversation, but not ideal. The staff interactions felt somewhat robotic and transactional, which took away from the overall experience. Overall, I likely wouldn’t return for dinner, but I’d consider giving it another try during the afternoon. So who would I bring to Tiamo? A casual friend.
Honestly, felt really unwelcome. Food mediocre
Walked in at 530pm with no reservation. Informed many reservations arriving shortly so would need to be seated downstairs. We were taken to a table in the middle of the room with no one other seated table around us. Actually no other customers in the restaurant. It remained that way for our entire meal. The server for our table was lovely but the man that seated us made us feel unwelcome. The food was mediocre. Overall experience was meh for $150
Went for my girlfriends birthday and got reservations. We were seated immediately but it took over an hour to receive our food whilst multiple other patrons who came some time after us received theirs. When it came out it was good but not as good as the price tag would make you think. Tables are crammed together so you can barely breathe (think New York City apartment) and music is playing just loudly enough to interfere with your conversation and seemed to go up in volume as our time there went on.
Kevin was such a sweetheart and was very honest and had great recommendations!
Food can be pricey but I was really disappointed about the size portion. If I’m paying 35$ the plate I hope I won’t finish it in 4 bites!
Food was plain and tasteless, but I loved my cocktail. Service was also friendly, fast, and attentive to customer's needs.
The burrata pizza is one of the best if not the best i’ve ever eaten The pasta was delicious and the bri fondant entree was delicious as well service was impeccable
My husband and I had a great experience. We had Valentine Day reservations and we really enjoyed the experience. The food was amazing, very nice presentation, large portions and very tasty. Our server Bianca was also amazing. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.
Excellent service. We came to eat before a show, all I have to say 5 stars all around great service great food
Booked a reservation and they are fairly accommodating to our group of 7 with dining upstairs and down stairs. Very aesthetic and cute for photos (lots of mirrors). There is loud music but the playlist was good. Cocktails and wines good, well priced as well. 3 courses and cocktails won’t run you up a ridiculous amount. -Food- Appetizers: Meatballs are a little dry but seasoned very nicely and have a good taste, octopus very forgettable Mains: The rosé rigatoni and sausage was one of the best options, good sauce but not a lot of sausage. Ragu veal pasta good but nothing extremely wow. Duck linguine had a fake bacon taste. Will not be coming back for the pastas. All dishes came out pipping hot!!! Deserts: DELICIOUS and the best part of our experience. Even if you don’t traditionally like chocolate mousse, like me, i still suggest giving this one a try. The chef creates a decadent twist to this desert and it was AMAZING. The tiramisu creme was so delicious. At the time of our visit, the desert of the day was cheesecake. Super creamy and light, maybe just missing a couli. -Service- The food runners seemed very young and confused, not dressed well, and basically slammed the plates on the table. Water was very scarce and wasn’t refilled. Old plates stayed on the table even if second courses had come. Wine glasses weren’t very shiny and unused ones weren’t cleared from the table even if we didn’t have much space. Minimal knowledge of the menu. We were not informed of any last calls for the bar and couldn’t order more. They were definitely pushing for us to pay quickly and leave even if we hadn’t ordered desert yet. The waiter was still sweet all things considered.
Food was really good for NYE - really enjoyed the osso bucco . Drinks were great and service was amazing. Nothing to complain about. Nice vibe and crowd.
