It was our second time there because we were so impressed the first time. We tried different dishes this time and we are still as impressed. Flavors are very refined and portions are not too small.
Amazing customer service, great food, great atmosphere!
I went on a Wednesday afternoon with my bf and the place was pretty quiet. We ordered the butter chicken combo, dragon chicken and a mango lassi drink. Everything was good and flavorful!! The butter chicken especially! I then ordered garlic naan afterwards which was amazing! Our waitress was also very nice😊
Excellent Indian restaurant, one of the best in the great montreal.
Delicious. Very good service (thanks to the server from Saturday lunch April 18, sorry got her name but lost the receipt I had her write it on), nice decor. Will come back!
The food was excellent. We ordered Dal Makhani, Paneer Butter Masala, Noodles, and Gobi Manchurian—and every dish was delicious. A special thanks to Chef Veer, who was attentive to our preferences and ensured the food quality was outstanding.
We(2persons) finished all of our dishes😆and I can’t remember the name of the dishes…I love the ambiance and the food is delicious! Will definitely come back again✌️
Really amazing food and great service !!!!!
Seriously good!
Excellent food and service, a must try if you love Indian cuisine
Everything is too good and friendly staff
Great indian restaurant!! The food is delicious, and portions are very generous and worth the price. I suggest sharing different plates to get the taste of all the great options!
Very tasty but à bit pricey. Nice atmosphere.
First time but not the last. We had the butter chicken combo (including biryani rice and butter naan), chana masala and paneer curry. Everything was warm and tasty. Portions were generous. What I found wonderful is that the 3 dishes we took had a similar looking sauce but all were tasting very different in a very good way.
Thank you guys keep it up....from Toronto to Québec
Very good restaurant ❤️
Very good food Will come again
We recently hosted an event at Swaad and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, the ambiance was beautiful, and the service was excellent. A special thank you to Chef Veer for coordinating with us and ensuring everything was perfectly organized. Our guests truly enjoyed the evening and had great things to say about the food and overall experience. Highly recommend this place for events and gatherings!
This restaurant is clearly taking advantage of the lack of Indian dining options on the South Shore. Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. A few months ago, around 9 PM, we were told there was no rice left—so we couldn’t dine in. Imagine an Indian restaurant running out of rice that early. Now again, on a Saturday at 9:30 PM, we were turned away and told dine-in was closed, even though the posted closing time is 10:30 PM. This is completely unacceptable and misleading. Management seriously needs to get their act together. Whether this is due to lazy staff or poor coordination, customers should not have to deal with such excuses. If you can’t serve dine-in at 9:30 PM on weekends or manage basic inventory, then update your hours instead of wasting people’s time. The food, service, and ambience are nothing special. The only reason people come here is because there are very few Indian restaurant options on the South Shore—and experiences like this make it clear that the restaurant is taking full advantage of that.
We came here at 9:30 PM n were told it was closed for dine-in. We were 4 people. There were many tables available. They should correct time on Google if they can’t take people before 10:30. We drove 45 minutes.
If you want actual indian food go there its bussin
The best Indian restaurant in south shore. I ordered the Ghee roast biryani, roti and chettinadu chicken curry a few days ago and it was absolutely mind boggling. I am very grateful to the owner for his generosity. When there was Ganpati festival, he organized an event for all the Indians to celebrate and offered free food to a lot people. Thank you sir 🙏 I have been ordering from here and I hope a lot of people will enjoy the food too.
Very good service and the food was delicious
Today we visited the restaurant for the second time. We’d ordered the as flavourful but dry, and the monghol(?) chicken as byarri, which barely had any sauce and an excessive amount of rice Mughal chicken curry and the lamb curry last time, absolutely amazing. But today, we had the chicken tandoori, which was flavourful but dry, and the Mughal chicken as byarri, which barely had any sauce and an excessive amount of rice. Honestly it was the only food disappointment because even the naans and mango lassi are amazing. Our biggest issue was the service. Our server was cold, unavailable and didn’t speak french. This was particularly problematic because the menu isn’t very clear and so we’re discouraged from asking questions. It’s really sad to see a restaurant with such great food this empty, but considering the service it’s not surprising.
