This place has a "fake name or pretend restaurant on Door Dash that is Tia Taco we ordered the Le coq blanc / The White Rooster Taco and the bœuf OG - "Style traditionnel" / OG Beef Taco - "Old School Style. Arrived cold.The tacos we're basically all over the box ingredients outside of taco. The guacamole?was on the side but very messy and the tacos hardly any ingredients in it. The tomatoes were outside of taco. Also here was goat cheese mixed in with the guacamole that mother is allergic. You need to tell customers that goat cheese is an ingredient. It was pretty gross to taste this. Too messy for delivery. Need package better and put more ingredients inside taco

First time here with the family. The service was great can not say anything negative about that. Maybe not the best choice for kids. Daughter had the poutine and it was very dry barely touched it. I got the nashville chicken sandwhich , the flavour was good and very spicy but extremely oily. Sandwhich just falls apart , need to eat with fork and knife. Probably wont come back as there are plenty of top notch smoke shops and bbq shops in the region. Not taking anything away like i said service was great but food was just ok.

As a person of color I thought Gatineau was hopeless when it comes to authentic Jerk chicken. I discovered Smoque shack yesterday and WOW here I am ordering it again today because it’s absolutely amazing! 10/10

Great first experience at SmoQue Shack! Food was amazing. Although the brisket was a little dry, the ribs and pulled pork were fantastic. The jerk chicken packed a punch, and the sides were absolutely divine. Amazing 5e Baron on tap, and good selection of cans as well. To top it all off, Stephanie's service made the experience next level. No complaints.

First time back here since they moved from the ottawa location into gatineau and my wife and I were impressed. Great food, excellent service, casual but professional atmosphere, calm and not too loud. Every part of the experience felt improved from our last visit. We will definitely be coming back with friends and family in the future.

Was told the brisket sandwich was excellent by the waiter, but there was very little meat and most of the meat was fat. For ~$22 I felt cheated. Also the children's hamburgers are misshapen (like a chunk missing - happened on both orders), so that you get less meat than a standard patty. Would not go again.

Amazing 😍 for weddings! We did our sampling today and they brought out some great samples for us to try. The Angus Beef Brisket, pork ribs, cheeseburger rolls, and the Mexican beans were our favourite. They accomodated my fiance's allergies for the sampling and for our wedding, and gave some great suggestions for cocktail hour. So excited for our wedding now! Tyler is friendly, gives great customer service, responsive, and really is accomodating as possible to ensure taste, quality, and service. I really recommend them for your wedding or even going to the restaurant for some great smoked meats.

First time trying Smoque Shack in Gatineau and we were pleasantly surprised. We went on a Monday evening, so the restaurant was fairly quiet, which gave us a moment of hesitation at first. That feeling quickly disappeared once we sat down. • We were seated and served right away, and the service was friendly and attentive. The staff took the time to walk us through the menu and offered recommendations, which was really appreciated. • We ordered the chopped brisket burger, along with the jalapeño sausages, onion rings, and sweet potato fries. Everything was very tasty. The onion rings and fries were extremely crispy and flavorful. The brisket burger was satisfying and well done, and the sausage had a nice spicy kick. • Overall, we were surprisingly happy with the experience. It is close to home and very convenient, and we will definitely be coming back. A good reminder that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover.

Went there for my bday and the waitress was outstanding. The food reminded me of BBQ eaten in Texas 3 years earlier. Will definitely come back.

delicious food! i got the nashville sandwich with sweet potato fries and a vodka soda and everything was awesome! our server, daphne, was super on it and helpful. definitely will come back!
