We had the most delicious roasted cauliflower steak and braised short rib gnocchi at the Courtyard Bistro. The location is modern and hip and our server was excellent. Highly recommended!

Excellent food and 5 star service! Very attentive server that went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The patio is amazing, beautiful garden setting that is hidden between the buildings, creating a cozy, inviting atmosphere. A great spot in Pembroke, we’ll definitely be back!

Update: I wanted to share that the manager reached out to us very promptly after my review. She was incredibly kind, sincere, and genuinely apologetic about our experience. We were very impressed by how quickly she took the time to connect with us personally and follow up. While the evening itself was disappointing, her thoughtful response and professionalism were truly appreciated and made us feel heard as customers. We had a reservation for 6:30 p.m. on a Thursday and were really looking forward to dining at Courtyard Bistro, especially since we had driven about 45 minutes to get there. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. After being seated, we sat at our table for approximately 25 minutes without a single acknowledgment from staff. No one said hello, offered water, or even mentioned they would be with us shortly. The restaurant did not appear particularly busy, and while we understand that staffing shortages can happen, a simple acknowledgment would have gone a long way. During that time, we watched other guests arrive, be seated, and receive service while we continued waiting with our menus closed, trying to be patient. We had also pre-ordered and paid for a cheesecake to take home. After 25 minutes without any interaction from staff, we quietly went to the bar to collect our cheesecake and left to find another place to eat. The most disappointing part was feeling invisible despite staff clearly seeing us sitting there waiting. We left feeling genuinely saddened rather than angry, as we had been excited for the evening and had made a special trip to visit the restaurant. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, because no guest should feel overlooked from the moment they are seated.

We were celebrating a birthday. The food was very good. The waitress was friendly and checked on us. We shared a pitcher of sangria and I thought it was delicious. We split the cost so the birthday girl doesn't have to pay and the waitress took care of it easily.

As two Dutchies passing through this lovely town, Courtyard Bistro is definitely a place you shouldn’t miss for a bite to eat. Everything was absolutely amazing — the food, the service, and the patio. Elly was such a kind and lovely person. We would highly recommend stopping by this restaurant if you’re ever in Pembroke!

We went today after visiting the cemetery. The food, the service, everything was excellent. Soup was hot. Hamburgers and steak were delicious. Drinks were excellent.

If I could rate this spot higher I would! The service was fantastic, super friendly staff. I had Savannah as my server and she was lovely, great service, just the right amount of time between services and gave great suggestions! I had the orange and pomegranate salad, it was packed with flavor and it all worked so well together. Probably the highlight of the entire dinner! I also tried the feta bruschetta, it was a generous portion, had the perfect balance of flavor with the herbs, balsamic and a touch of sweetness and had fun parmesan chips! For the main I had the french onion risotto, the risotto was cooked at a perfect al-dente, it had a good amount of fried shallots, tender chicken and soft onions. And lastly I was reccomended the lavender and pistachio cheesecake, it was the perfect end to this meal. The lavender flavor was just so lovely, soft and floral. The cheesecake was creamy and was paired with fresh berries and crushed pistachios. Complements to the entire staff, both servers and kitchen staff. Will be comming back thats for sure!

I had a great time there, the atmosphere was incredible, I loved the lighting. I went for my birthday and they surprised me with a creme brulee. The calamari was definitely my favorite part, the sauce was extremely good and if I went back, would 100% get it again. Also had the pasta that they were serving that day and there was nothing to be desired. I would recommend it, and would definitely go back again.

Our server Amber was absolutely amazing. We will return to this restaurant 110%. Food was wonderful. We there there for lunch group of 3 and everything from the drinks to appetizers as well as the lunch and desert were top shelf. Keep up the great work and clone Amber, all I can say is WOW amazing server, polite, attentive, fun and a happy person. Great job !!!!

A gem of a place. Made my reservation online and they followed up to confirm. Julianna was our server and she was funny, accommodating and just had a great energy about her. The food didn't disappoint, it never does. It was delicious and the presentation was gourmet! I always love the atmosphere and overall had an amazing experience!
