Came here with my friend and I immediately had a bad vibe. I was only in there for 2 minutes while I waited for my friend in the bathroom. Old French dude came up and started speaking French to me very fast and couldn’t understand him cause I only speak English. I told him I didn’t understand him and he finally said something in English. “You need to leave” and I was like oh okay. I texted my friend that I got kicked out and ended up going to bar Billard le Huit and we had a great time there! Taverne isn’t English friendly apparently.
