The food and drinks was amazing and the service absolutely killed. The ambiance was spectacular and I would highly recommend for a date or a family thing, or even on your own at the bar!!! Tanner was an absolute hoot. And Victoria has the same name as the town I come from!

We love coming here—often with my dear friend Victoria, who I’ve known forever—and tonight was especially special celebrating her birthday with my husband Brian. Chef Steve surprised us with a special amuse-bouche that was absolutely incredible. The service was excellent—Kaylee took great care of us throughout the evening. Thank you for such a memorable night. As always, the food was consistently perfect. 🙏☺️

Our small group enjoyed a flawless experience. Highly recommend the chefs menu, wonderful variety of flavors, so fresh, the chef Josh is like a marvelous tour guide and the service was impeccable. Can’t wait to return.

They were Unpleasant to my friend. Kept repeating the price as if we couldn't afford the food! Question my friend when I went outside for a cigarette. The waiter had no knowledge of the wine he was serving! Overall a very bad energy.

We had a pleasant evening at Taverne Monkland. The food and presentation was good. Kudos to the servers for their description of the specials, you want to taste everything after such an eloquent pitch! We liked the earlier sitting since it can get a bit loud later in the evening.

Service here is really good, all the staff members were very attentive and nice. The food is where I think it gets a bit mixed, some items are really good but others were kind of whatever for the price point of the restaurant. I had the special mackerel ceviche, root vegetable capaccio, steak & fries and their homemade bread. The bread was really delicious and so was the mackerel ceviche. The root vegetable capaccio was overwhelmed by the parmesan and it didn't feel like there was much else to the dish because of it. The steak and fries is very basic. I really liked the cocktails though. I has a Pisco Sour and La Madonnna. Both had really well balanced flavors. Overall open to returning, but gotta be a bit more picky when selecting dishes.
