Great place for both locals and visitors! I stumble upon this restaurant while trying to show my British friend around. Great food, great service, I especially love the sharing style of the entrees, allowing us to try all the food ordered. Loved everything about here!

I am Greek, so my standards are pretty high; Mati is one of the best Greek restaurants in town. Authentic food, great cocktails and wine list in a beautiful ambiance. The space is really well set up and the staff was very kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommended 🙌🧿

I expected more about food quality Tzatziki dip not comparable with traditional one ( too much lemon and salt) The octupus was burned

We’ve been here twice, separated by a year. Both times it was the best meal of our lives. The staff is so hospitable and warm. They are friendly and handsome and beautiful.its strange… the food sends me into a terrible depression because I realize that nothing outside of this restaurant is as good as whats inside this restaurant. I’m just out of words. Beautiful.

Nice place with a modern vibe. The food was good, but quite expensive for the size of the portions. We were 3, 2 ladies who don't eat big meals and one gentleman that was very hungry. We started with the greek salad. It was nice, with a good size chunck of feta cheese and enough to share for 3 people. The calamari was tender and crispy, we loved the yogourt sauce that came with it, but the portion was more of an appetizer size for one than a meal. The same goes with the greek sausage, just one, cut into 9 pieces. The pork chop (only 1 in the "to share" ) menu was average size, good but I could have eaten the whole thing myself. Basically, they chopped it in 6 that's why it's "shareable" The green beans were delicious, but again small.We left hungry with a $150 bill (including only 1 beer).

We loved everything about our dinner at Máti. We are still talking about the grilled octopus, the lamb chops and the crudo a day later. Great atmosphere and drinks as well, and the staff was very friendly. We’ll be back for sure!

The service was incredible from start to finish. Adrian went above and beyond to help me customize a birthday menu for my group, making the whole experience feel special and seamless. The drinks were delicious, and the food was outstanding. Thank you to Adrian and Sofia for making my birthday such a memorable night!

The salad, dips and deserts were tasty. Although it's no fault of the restaurant, our shareable main (Pastitsio) wasn't to our liking (it was almost like a Greek recipe meets Shepherd's pie fusion of sorts). Our server was efficient but rather terse in demeanor. We'll try something else on the menu next time.

Outstanding food and service! This is easily some of the best Greek food in Montreal. Our waiter was incredibly kind and helpful. The taramasalata, deep-fried calamari, stuffed peppers, sea bass, and Greek sausages were all delicious, paired with great drinks. Slightly loud music, but we’ll definitely be back.

Unbelievable establishment. The service even better. Shout out to ‘Adrianoupoulos’ for the entertainment throughout the whole night. Recommend 10/10. Food and drinks were just exceptional !

An Friday evening meal in March while on a 4 night break. The sharing experience was great and the food well prepared and tasty. The Waitress had excellent English and was very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was lively but not over loud with a couple of birthday celebrations.

What a fantastic place!!! Our 1st time and by far the best Greek food I ever had. The staff is helpful, super friendly, and very professional. We were a family of 5, we choose the seabass, pork chops, vine leaves, calamari, roasted potatoes, grilled octopus, green beans. Everything was excellent, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection, so so delicious. We also had the ice cream and the custard. It was amazing! I highly recommend it.

I wanted to leave a review because my friends and I came here last night to celebrate my birthday, and the staff truly made it such a special experience. They couldn’t have been kinder, offering to help set up the table with balloons and making sure everything was perfect for us. Our server, Charlotte, was amazing, so friendly and attentive. She even helped us take pictures, which we really appreciated. All of my friends kept saying how we hadn’t had service this good in a long time. The food was also delicious with no complaints at all. Overall, such a great experience, I would definitely come back!

Best food on the planet, it’s as if you’re eating on a summer evening in Greece. I recommend the grilled octopus and Greek salad as well as the pork chops!! Truly, it melts in your mouth and each bite is flavourful. This is one of the best Greek restaurants in Montreal, I don’t think any other place can compare. The service was awesome, staff were very kind and always engaging with us making sure our service was good. This place deserves a 5 star rating, even higher if possible

Taverne Grecque Máti is a perfect spot for those who love Mediterranean cuisine. They serve traditional Greek flavors with an exceptional focus on freshness and quality. From appetizers to main courses, everything is in perfect harmony. I highly recommend the calamari and stuffed grape leaves. It's also a very satisfying place in terms of price-performance.

Had a beautiful supper with my family. The food is great. Very flavorful and the right amount per plate. Would go back.
