The service and food quality seem to be declining day by day. The new servers don’t appear to be familiar with the full menu, which affected our experience. Our server, Aryan, unfortunately messed up our order. We asked for a murgh makhni for two people, but he seemed unsure about what we meant and didn’t check with anyone for clarification. In the end, we had to order an extra butter chicken on the side. On a positive note, it arrived very quickly. Additionally, we felt rushed to leave. A girl brought us boxes and asked us to vacate the table for the next reservation, which came across as a bit aggressive.

Our experience last night was an absolute mess from start to finish. We called ahead for a reservation for 5 and were told, “no problem, just walk in—we have plenty of space.” However, when we arrived, the lady at the door questioned us asking why we were even here without a reservation. Completely contradictory and unprofessional. To make things worse, the staff member we initially spoke with had difficulty understanding us, which led to confusion right from the beginning. Then the manager, Aman, approached us in a very rude manner and told us we only had one hour to eat and leave. This was never mentioned during the phone call. If there’s a strict dining time, it should be clearly communicated beforehand—not imposed on customers after they arrive. Let me put it this way: if you got dressed up with your family, expecting a pleasant evening at a classy restaurant, and were treated like this, would you be happy? Personally, I felt completely disrespected. It ruined the entire experience. Even after placing our order, the server kept repeating that we only had one hour, which made us feel rushed and uncomfortable throughout the meal. This is not how a fine dining experience works. If the goal is to maximize profit, there are far more professional and respectful ways to do it than pressuring customers like this. In the end, we were practically rushed out as if we didn’t matter at all. The whole place felt disorganized, poorly managed, and lacking basic hospitality standards. Very disappointing. I will think a thousand times before coming back—and I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.

Amazing hospitality from the workers. They were extremely nice with us, particularly Gaul Khawar, who was very welcoming and came often to ask us about the food and if we needed anything else. The quantity of food was great for the price; specifically the Lamb Chops and Lamb skewers were exceptional in taste, as well as the tandoori chicken. We bought Madras for which it was written that it would be spicy. It was something we never tried, and we were surprised in how spicy the curry was, since in other Indian restaurants we previously ate in, the spicy level felt as if it was made to comply to the “goras”(iykyk). But that was not the case for Tandoori Palace, their food was actually spicy and flavourful. Overall the food and the quantity was very good for the price, and the kindness and generosity of the workers really made the restaurant feel like a safe environment and a good experience.

Wow! 5 starts isn’t even enough to rate how much we enjoyed our experience at Tandoori Palace. Hash is an excellent server, food portions were more than filling and flavours were delicious. We will be back. Merci!

I had a very disappointing experience. The management seemed completely disorganized — despite having a reservation, we were made to wait longer than walk-in customers. Once we finally got a table, there were no menus and no water provided for quite some time. It was clear the restaurant was severely understaffed — only one server was handling two floors, which is simply unacceptable. On top of that, the food took about 1 hour and 15 minutes to arrive. To make matters worse, tables that were seated after us received their food before we did. Overall, this felt like poor management and cost-cutting at the expense of customer experience. Definitely not recommended.

This was our first visit (for my birthday) after wanting to try for a long time. The food was beyond delicious. The lamb chops were melt in your mouth and the chicken kebabs were juicy and flavourful. We also tried the eggplant dish, the daal and aloo gobi and it just got better and better. The service was top notch - super friendly with great conversation through the meal. The restaurant decor is gorgeous and the bathrooms were clean …. The wall paper in the bathroom was not like anything I’ve seen… perfection. Overall this was an 11/10 and we will be back again very soon.
