Running a restaurant and managing a restaurant are two very different things, and not everyone has the skills required to do both effectively. Unfortunately, our recent experience reflected a lack of proper management and staff training. The front desk lady handling reservations and takeout orders was at times rude and unnecessarily boastful about the restaurant’s popularity and pricing. Confidence is good, but professionalism and courtesy toward customers are far more important. Our server seemed confused and unfamiliar with the menu. He had to go back to the kitchen multiple times to confirm basic details about dishes. This does not reflect well on a professional establishment. Staff should be properly trained and fully knowledgeable about the menu to ensure smooth service. We specifically ordered Masala Chicken Tikka, but instead received plain Chicken Tikka. Such mistakes are unacceptable, especially when customers are clear about their order. I strongly recommend that the management invest time in properly training their staff so they understand the menu, improve communication, and provide a better overall customer experience. Unfortunately, due to this disappointing experience, we will not be returning.
I made a reservation in advance and arrived on time, expecting a smooth and organized experience. However, upon arrival, there was no staff member present at the entrance to welcome or assist guests. Instead, there was a line of approximately 15 frustrated customers waiting to be seated. While I fully understand that restaurants can become busy and that table preparation may require some time, waiting nearly 30–35 minutes despite having a reservation felt excessive and suggested a lack of consideration for guests’ time. What was more disappointing was the attitude of the manager on duty. She appeared visibly irritated and was quite dismissive toward guests at the door. On several occasions, while customers were waiting, she was on the phone telling someone, “Please come, we have lots of space,” which created confusion and frustration among those of us who had already been waiting. The overall welcome was unprofessional and uninviting. After finally being seated, we waited approximately 10 minutes without receiving water, glasses, cutlery, or menus. The manager then approached our table and asked whether we had placed our order. It was surprising to be asked this question when we had not yet been provided with the basic necessities to do so. This reflected a lack of coordination and attentiveness from the service team. We eventually placed our order with a girl, and the food arrived roughly 30 minutes later. While some delay is understandable during peak hours, the overall dining experience did not meet the standard we had previously known at the Cartier location. The quality of the food has noticeably declined, and the service was far from the warm and respectful atmosphere we had experienced in the past. Our drinks were never brought to the table, and no one checked in to ask if we needed anything further. The most disappointing moment occurred shortly after we began eating—within about five minutes, the manager brought takeaway boxes and the bill to the table, giving the impression that we were being rushed out. While it is understandable to manage table turnover during busy periods, this approach felt abrupt and inconsiderate. Overall, the experience was unprofessional and disappointing. From the lack of organization at the entrance to the decline in service quality and food standards, the restaurant no longer reflects the level of hospitality it once offered. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I do not feel the experience justified the time or expense.
The atmosphere was vibrant and staff were incredibly friendly and joked around with us, lifting our experience further. In terms of cost, this place is highly recommended for the quantity of food you receive. Overall, a pleasant moment, considering we came on one of their busiest days as well.
Hash is the best
Yummy indian cuisine, very moderate spices.
The service we received from Hash are beyond and the meals are so delicious, we’ll be back again 🤩

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was outstanding — perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and served hot. The menu offers a great variety, and everything we tried was delicious. The staff was polite, quick, and very accommodating. The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and perfect. Definitely coming back again!🤗

This place has amazing ambiance - the music, decor and lighting are next level. The food is amazing and the service provided by server Hash is outstanding - quick, attentive and genuinely nice.

We sat down at 6 pm and were finally served at 7:20! Insanely slow service with a staff that seems like they could care less about the customers. Food was lovely but service killed it with their incompetence. Oh we got a soup at 6:45 pm… and they forgot my papadam! 🙄
The 5 star restro is getting degraded day by day by their rude and dumb staff members no management of reservations and takeouts .. on call the lady say yes to everbody and surprising no space at arrival very cold treatement by aman she took our order never came back why ??? The service was not this they need employees why you not hire some staff
