Super great casual place for affordable delicious tacos. Service so friendly and really went above and beyond anything I’ve experienced in a casual dining place ! And the churros were absolutely one of the best I ever had - perfect crunch soft dough ratio

Stumbled upon this place last night an hour before they closed and the vibes were immaculate. I’m not sure who took our order but he was so joyous and had a great energy. When we got our food, we were given three free tacos (I guess maybe someone forgot their order and we were gifted it) but it was such a nice act to do ! The portions are great for the size (i had a burrito) and the tacos are really flavourful and traditional ! It’s a great place with great vibes and great food, definitely worth the stop ! Will definitely come back !

We had a hankering for some tacos and randomly picked Tacos Maya from a number of taco restaurants in the area based on the good reviews. We were certainly happy with the food as it was vibrant and delicious! We had the chips and guacamole, beef birria and cochinata pork tacos which were all fantastic. Highly recommended!

The girl at the cash was horrible. Messed up my order 3 times. Doesn’t speak Spanish (not that i do lol but it’s a Mexican resto and people came in and ordered in Spanish and she couldn’t serve them). The chef was Indian. Empanadas came out dark dark brown and crumbed before you could eat. Totally burnt. She said “she microwaved them too long” ordered 3 at $5 each, threw them out at the resto. Tacos were good. Guacamole good. Total bill was $120 3 ppl. Tipped 15% but if I knew wouldn’t have tipped her at all messed up the order. Problem is tip is on ordering at beginning who knew she knew nothing about restaurants. When I complained just had an excuse. I went because it had good reviews. Anyways was disappointed. If someone wants to get it touch with me from the resto I can explain in detail.

My fiancee and i were staying in Montreal and decided to stop at TacosMaya. We both got cochinita porc tacos (3 each). Wow! Very good. Be prepared for a filling meal. Some places 3 tacos don't fill fill you up. I am currently stuffed writing this. Shout out to our cook/server Nate (he is amazing and so nice). A honourable mention also is the non-alcoholic sangria drink. Its very very good just a bit pricy. Worth it though!

Definitely a gem in the city. Had the pastor pork tacos and they were super tasty and flavorful. As well recommend the churros that were soooo good.

I really enjoyed my expérience at Tacos Maya. The food is really good and reminded me of Mexico. It truly tasted authentic! The service is nice and the quality is very good. They are vegetarian friendly so you don't have to worry about cross contamination. 10/10 recommended :)

The birria and al pastor tacos were phenomenal, best I’ve had in Montreal. The dulce de leche churros are also a must order. They came warm and were truly great. Would highly recommend this spot.
