I’ve only gotten takeout once on a busy Saturday late afternoon. The staff were pleasant and the food was spectacular. It’s a quite noisy but cozy and small resto. I didn’t see alcoholic beverages in their menu. Loved their homemade tortilla chips and shrimp tacos.

It was Cinco de Mayo yesterday and I said whatever it takes I am going on a hunt for some Mexican food. I found the Treasure!!! Hit Gold with Tacos Frida. The chicken tacos are made with a chipotle sauce with just the right kick mixed in with all the ingredients topped with green salsa made them authentic, flavorful and delicious.

I have food allergies (to hot peppers) and even at a Mexican restaurant they could accomodate me. Usually everything is already pre made but they gave me few options. I didnt had to stick with just bread, like at other previous Mexicans restaurants. Thank you. I really appreciate. Some people actually HAVE food allergies, not just a "trend". The service was great. The atmosphere reminds me of Brazil: very colorful and happy. The music was not blasting loud, gracias, so we could actually have a conversation and enjoy our time there.

I really don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews for businesses, but the gaslighting was a good motivator here. We placed a large order through DoorDash since we don’t live close by, and they couldn’t even bother including salsas with the tacos. Instead of simply apologizing or saying something like, “Hey, next time you come by, we’ll give you something on the house,” they told me the salsas are given for free as if including salsa with tacos is some kind of special favour. Then they told me it’s a “personal preference” to eat tacos with salsa. Please go to Mexico, serve tacos without salsa, and see how far the “personal preference” excuse gets you. Complete nonsense. Did Russell Crowe get salsa with his tacos? Having lived in Mexico, it’s honestly tiring to see these cheap, scammy Mexican restaurants charge way more for tacos while not even bothering to include basic things like limes or salsas or acting extremely greedy about including these important items. It’s the complete antithesis of what Mexican food is supposed to be about. Scammers.

Went for Tacos with a few of my friends and we had an amazing time. We got a bunch of tacos including chicken, birra, shrimp, mushroom, and pork. We also got chips and quesadilla. For dessert we got a slice of tres leches, flan, and churros. All the food was delicious, no notes. The shrimp tacos and churros were my favorite. The only thing I wasn’t too fond of was the tres leches cake, thought it was a bit dry. The place is a bit small. I would recommend making a reservation if you’re a big group. We got lucky that enough seating was available.

It was my first time having Tacos in Montreal. So I decided to try them. The food was really authentic Mexican style and I found the flavors to be well-balanced. I recommend trying them; I'm sure you'll enjoy them. You can also have a shot of Tequila with some Tajin seasoning on the side. 👌✌️👍👍😉

The food always hits. We went at 3pm figuring it would be quiet and it was still pretty fullf rec. The food is always delicious and I have never gotten a bad meal, not matter what ww order. We had just a margarita, large guacamole and some cause beef tacos. They were so delicious.

The margaritas were so good. The tacos and guacamole was amazing. The service was friendly. We went on a Friday around 7 or 8 it was packed. We waited maybe half an hour. But worth it.

We got the lunch special which includes 3 tacos, a soup or chips and guac and a drink. My wife got the pastor tacos and I got the tinga tacos. Both were delicious but pastors are the best. You can’t get three different tacos unfortunately, but you can still share if your wife will let you. Easy on the Mexican salsa, it’s pretty spicy, but fun. I got the hibiscus juice for a 2$ extra fee but it was worth it! Great vibes, friendly service.
