Excellent quality of food. It gets 4 stars from me because in my experience the best taco places should have carrots and jalapeños chopped and bagged together as well as radishes. Service is 2 stars because the last six times I have called during opening hours, they either did not answer and once I was told they were closed for a private event (fair enough). I used to eat here every 2 weeks, it's been over 2 months since I have been able to put in an order. It's a very small place but they are welcoming. Only 3-4 tables to sit at. They have a small but quality drink selection. Hoping to be able to order again soon, thought last time my wife and I ate there we did spend over $40 for 8 tacos. I miss the days I could get a taco for $1.50. Edit after response from owner: Service down to 1 star and overall review to 2. Zanahorias en escabeche is a traditional Mexican cuisine. I grew up in California around the Mexicans who immigrated from Mexico and brought their food to America. My mother is mexican. I have a hard time viewing this place as authentically Mexican after the given response with the culture was raised in. I check the hours before calling, I do not have a choice as I search the phone number via Google maps everytime. If it says open, I call. No answer is no answer unfortunately.
