Stopped by Ta Chido Snack Bar and split a Torta Al Pastor and Chicken Tinga — both were excellent. The standout for me was the bread: incredibly soft, fresh, and held everything together without getting soggy. The Al Pastor had a nice balance of savory and slightly sweet, while the Chicken Tinga brought a deeper, smoky flavor. Portions were solid for sharing, and everything tasted fresh and well put together. Simple menu, done really well. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.

There’s a display case full of King Kong and assorted vintage gorilla plastic toys. If that doesn’t grab you and melt your heart, you’re the real monster. Family friendly, close by, run by total sweethearts, full of charm. I get a couple of tacos and a boozy drink and I bump into friends and it’s easy. My lady gets something different each time, what am I , her boss? She gets what she wants. My kid eats well too, he gets the Azteca Soup which is great.
My cactus taco was life-changing - the ambience is electric-eclectic-mexicano. Fun find!
Went for lunch today with my girlfriend and ordered the al pastor tacos. Best tacos I've had in Montreal so far. I am used to California Mexican food and this place rivals even the best I've had in SF or LA.
mind-blowing, amazing torta that nursed me back to life from an egregious hangover. delightful service, too. i will be back and that’s a threat!
Amazing Cuban sandwiches. We go back every time we are in Montréal.
