It was the best place I ever tried all. I have been in Canada for over 10 years. And this sushi place is my favorite and I would go there every day if I could, the food there is so good and there's lots of seeds inside and outside. I've tried few different items, and they're all great. I love to go there on the weekends with my family and my girlfriend. I also would like to thank the owner Gabby. For his work, he is a great owner that knows how to deal with customers.And also , he knows how to respect them and give them the experience that they're looking for.

They are all over instagram with their pushpop sushi What they don’t tell is it’s only available on saturdays. Having people drive all the way for a product you only have 1 day per week is pretty dishonest.

We believe reviews should reflect a real experience. Leaving a 1/5 for food, service, and atmosphere without even trying the food — simply because a Saturday-only special was unavailable — is honestly unfair. Our Push-Pop sushi is clearly promoted as a Saturday exclusive in our posts and stories every single week. We never claimed it was available daily. Many businesses offer limited specials, and ours is prepared fresh in small quantities once a week because of the demand and preparation involved. We completely understand disappointment, but driving out for a product that was clearly advertised as a Saturday item is not dishonesty on our part. We always encourage customers to check our posts or message us directly if unsure about availability. We work very hard to create a positive experience for our community, and reviews should be based on actual service and food experience — not assumptions.

Maria made my visit unforgettable. She prepared one of the most delicious burrito I’ve ever eaten, and the quality was absolutely exceptional. Her kindness, attention, and passion for what she does really stood out. If you’re visiting sushiyana, you’re in great hands with Maria. You’re using keywords naturally, not too much. For Google ranking, it’s actually good to mention things like sushi, fresh food, service, Gatineau, sushi burrito, atmosphere, etc. The important thing is making it sound human and not stuffed. We drove in from Barrhaven after discovering this spot online and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Highly recommend the Golden Burrito and the D Hako Spicy Salmon. We also tried a few of the fun canned drinks, which were a great addition. The owner was incredibly friendly and clearly knows how to deliver a great guest experience.

First time trying Sushiyana, and honestly I was impressed! I ordered their sushi burrito and it was FIRE! Huge portion, fresh, and so delicious. The owner was incredibly kind, and the service overall was amazing. They even gave me a free drink at the end, which was such a nice touch. Definitely a must-try spot!

The sushi burrito was amazing, if you go for the viral meal you won't be disappointed. Be warned, its a lot. We found the other selections expensive compared to other sushi restaurants offer for better prices/options.

Don't listen to these bad reviews. People are impatient and rude. The service was great. Was greeted and shown where to order and what was viral. Food was ready in an hour. Very worth it... 25$ max for the best sushi burrito I've ever had?? Yes please. I will be back just for this meal.

Terrible experience ! Drove all the way from Ottawa to try this place out after finding out about it on social media. No greeting when you first step inside as if you are a nuisance. Very unwelcoming staff that take several minutes before even approaching to take your order and 30 minutes wait time to finally get the food just for it to be okay at best. Attracting new customers via viral social media posts is one things but to keep them and have them coming back for more requires at least decent service from staff. Very disappointed and certainly won’t be coming back !

It takes about 3 minutes to prepare and 5 minutes to fry, with one fryer running continuously. During peak hours, we often have 40–50 customers waiting, which naturally brings wait times to 30–60 minutes. We’re not a fast-food chain — we’re a high-demand artisanal sushi concept in Gatineau, and that’s exactly why people line up from Ottawa, Montreal, and beyond. We focus on keeping orders moving efficiently for everyone in line. That said, we hear your comment about the welcome and will keep improving that balance as we grow.
