When it’s not busy it’s great. When it’s bus
Food was delicious but multiple items ordered were not brought to the table and some of the things that did come were not what we ordered. If you like delicious food and aren't picky about that shows up this is the place for you. If you are looking to get exactly what you ordered or spend less than 1.5 hours to get a decent amount of food this is not the place to go.
Decent sino-jap fusion foods, good ambiance. Reasonable price.
*EDIT REVIEW 2026* ''All Good things come to an end'' I have to update my review to give it a big fat 1 star. If I could give it negative stars, I would. What I experienced and ate yesterday was not what I had back when I made my review. The service was non existent, missing orders, lack of details to the dishes and attempts at replicating flavors... The 'Wasabi mussels' did not taste like wasabi and more like pesto mussels. I have reasons to believe management/ownership was changed and the new owners took a quick look at the pictures and tried to replicate the recipes. The 'Beef Tataki' had a similar spice blend to the first time I went but lacked the shallots to give it flavors. We could not even tell the difference between the beef and tuna tataki (see pictures) What I had was not 'Sushi Hin' but a TEMU version of it. This is going to be our last time here. Good bye *ORIGINAL REVIEW* One of the best sushi AYCE I’ve been in a while. The service, quality and choices of food is unmatched against other competitors in the area and in montreal. There is AYCE tuna sashimi!! WOW
I wish I could give less than a star.. I never had sushi before and I wanted to try it. It was so good and would love to have it again but I think I will never go to this restaurant or any other Asian owned restaurant ever again. The waiter were so shocked to see a black hijabi women who wants to eat alone. They literally did not know what to do with me. They kept staring at me for few seconds like I was at a place I was supposed not to be in. I was thinking “I’m hungry and I want to eat” but they looked so confused looking at me like I was something out of this world!! I felt disgusting and wished to disappear!! I am a truck driver and work few minutes away from this restaurant. I wanted to eat something different that day and thought let me try sushi. I will never in my LIFE try or go anywhere close to these restaurants. I see now why at my age I was always hesitant about going to restaurants. What a disappointment. Your a restaurant your supposed to feed your customers.. please welcome everyone. We are paying the food from you not sealing it. If you have standers.. then have a sign at the door. Maybe something like… “We don’t serve, single black Muslim person” If not you should see all your customers the same. Disgusting behaviour from the staff!!!
I was a bit disappointed by the food quality. All the tataki were super cold (the beef was a bit icey & the salmon felt like it was old). The nigiri fish to rice ratio was off. On another note the service was super friendly & fast, you can tell they are having a good time as a team. Worth trying out, but not for me.
Decent selection of sushi, the grilled salmon neck is a must have! One of the few AYCE sushi restaurants with child pricing under 12
What a treat. This place has some of the best sushi and variety I've ever tried. Bravo 👏
Excellent all you can eat sushi 🍣 place. Everything was fresh and very good. We will go back. We got in @ 16:30 on a Friday, the place was almost full at 18:00
I ordered online and was pleasantly surprised that my food was ready in about 5 minutes 😅 Even though it wasn’t peak hour, it’s always nice to get such quick service. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the COMBO H1 ($20.95) with California, Kamikaze, and salmon sushi, and the quality was really good for the price. Everything tasted fresh and I really enjoyed it. Thank you to the team for the quick service and great food!
This location used to be Sushi St-Jean, which we really liked, so we were happy to see it become Sushi Hin and that the new restaurant is just as good. Great selection of sushi, everything tasted fresh, and the service was fast. The prices are also very reasonable. A great spot and definitely worth a visit.
Huge improvement from previous owners - everything is much better - atmosphere, food, service and modern tables, lights and ordering system. Parking might be a bit of a problem during busy days, great experience overall.
Service is really good, and the food was even better
I ordered the 52 piece chefs platter for delivery. Everything was soggy. The fish was waterlogged, the rice was so wet it was see through and the avocado was slop. Everything was so wet there was liquid at the bottom of my tray. Never again.
I never felt sick like that after going to a all you can eat sushi , plus the girl was kinda rude rooling her eyes and for this prices i wish they had more choices.
Terrible place. Bad service. Keep an eye out for the salmon quality. Dirty place, dirty kitchen. Management running a circus. To the young servers, change jobs.
All have alcohol😡
Great service thank you so muchhhh
Lovely place, fast service even though they were PACKED for lunch. Great staff.
Mid as hell
Very busy service is quick. Food is good. I prefer using the tablet instead of my phone.
Great spot in the West Island area. Since the new ownership, the quality of food and service both improved dramatically. Loved the special menu items that you don't see in other sushi places. Very fast service and extremely polite staff. Will come again!
This used to be my favorite restaurant for all-you-can-eat sushi. Unfortunately, on my last two visits, the quality has declined. I went back Saturday night. I have to say that, for the second time in a row, the sushi was disappointing. The maki were poorly rolled and kept falling apart. They use way too much rice. You can tell sushi is pre-rolled when the tempura isn't crisp anymore. To be sure, I ordered a handroll, which can't be made in advance. My handroll was fresh. The nori seaweed was crispy, and so was the tempura, but there was really too much rice. One of the reasons I always go back to this restaurant is for the kitchen dishes. Yesterday, I was disappointed with the quality of the food. The service is very fast, admittedly, but I prefer to wait a bit and be served hot. Some of our fried dishes were cold, like the fried scallops, takoyaki, and tempura. My favorite dish at Hin is the lamb skewers. Yesterday, they used too much seasoning, and the second portion I ordered underneath was burnt. I usually come on weekends. I find it's better during the week, perhaps because they're less busy and take the time to prepare orders properly. Overall, the service is always good. The servers always make sure our water glasses are refilled and consistently clear our plates. Hopefully they will improve the quality of the food back.
I went to Sushi Hin 3 weeks ago! Thefood quality was amazing, better than all the sushi restaurants nearby. The manager was very warm and welcoming! He offered us some signutarue dish of sushi. They taste amazing! I 100% recommend this place specialo over Matsuno they are 100 times better
