I came here twice. Amazing sushi and beautifully presented dishes. The pieces are slightly on the smaller side, but the flavor is absolutely perfect. The nigiri was definitely the highlight for me, a must-have if you’re visiting! The ambience and decor are beautiful as well. You can really see the care and precision in the cuts and the details of each piece. It is on the higher end price-wise, but worth it for the quality. I would personally skip the crab appetizer next time simply because it didn’t wow me like the sushi did. Overall, such a great experience and I’ll definitely keep coming back!

BY FAR!! The best sushi i've had in Montreal. Hands down best service with great atmosphere and people. Would like to give a shoutout to our server Rudy, amazing guy, made the experience much better. Will definitely go back.
My wife and I decided to try this establishment and set a reservation. The place was packed walking in and one of the hostesses (short blonde-haired girl) almost plowed my wife over trying to go by with no regard. Just focused on where she was headed, I assume but still. Ironically on our way out the same hostess was coming back through and again almost knocked my wife over and bumped me as I pulled my wife out of the way. Again, no regard. I honestly think she didn't even notice, just so focused. So, my suggestion would be to be aware of your surroundings so you're not trampling the patrons. The pictures of the space are misleading. I thought the space would be bigger. It made it feel like you were on top of others. Nice quaint dark charge just compact. I had reserved the sushi bar. Now we had expected to be able to see what the chefs were doing but due to the height of the wood bar that was impossible. Also, we had expected a more personalized experience as where the chefs interact as had previously at other Japanese restaurants in Jamaica, the U.S. and while living in Japan. Here they just make up the orders. I would suggest a table to anyone since they do not interact, you're just getting a lot of noise. Also, you are in a high traffic spot for the employees coming and going from the back. All this aside the real surprise was the menu. It is unique as previewed online via their website prior to make a reservation. But found to be misleading/poorly formatted. The section for Sushi Rolls be it 6 or 8 pieces, at the top of each respective page states in red with parenthesis (6 pieces) and the other page (8 pieces). Below are the various rolls laid out with next to each one in red with parenthesis either a (6) or (8) depending on which page you are on. Now I assumed this was the price per roll as I found most menus in Montreal have a format of i.e. 00, 00.00, (0), (0$), 00$, and 00.00$. With a few in place of the $ sign using CAD. I did not think that if a page is already labeled at the top that anyone would format redundantly the amount given. And the actual price is 4 times that. Now I am not saying they aren't making a quality product. It was all very delicious. Presentation was impeccable but honestly to us it wasn't over the top or within reason of the price. I would have to say this is the most expensive sushi I have had. I believe mine was 37 CAD ($27 US). In the U.S. typically I'd say rolls range from $6-$20 USD. The cost didn't really matter, just wasn't expecting it. And again, the rolls are unique, normally not found elsewhere and were delicious. I just think the website should reflect the price of and not the amount when itis already stated, it is just misleading. Also note if your look at the drink's menu online, there are no parenthesis but to the right of each beverage item in red is a number indicating the price. So, you really shouldn't have it on one menu then be different on another. Drink wise I started with NIKKA MIYAGIKYO PEATED 2021 SINGLE MALT for 35$ (25 USD). I had never heard of it, but I like smokey drinks. A quick check showed this bottle goes for around $250USD. So, I'd say the price equates properly. But I also based this on a shot (being 1.5oz or 44.4ml). When it came out in the standard 6oz whiskey glass it was barely visible. I'd guess based on having these glasses maybe 1/2 an ounce. So, someone either really mis poured or...... I hadn't even tasted yet when another server (we had 2 it seems) came by and asked if I would like another drink and went to take the glass. I said I hadn't even tried it yet. He apologized and said he thought the glass was empty, so that is saying something. On the note of drinks, under sake you can find 300ml DASSAI 45 JUNMAI DAI GINJO for 85$ ($62 USD), this generally sells for about $35 USD. Literally around the corner @ Gyu-Kaku (Japanese hibachi) they sell it on their menu for (300ml) 55$ ($40 USD). Hidden Fish is a 42% markup over retail. Now dessert, amazing. Nothing like it. The mouse cheesecake was divine. I would go back just for this.
Everything was great! The sushi is so fresh and delicious. We’ll be back!
Rudy is an absolutely incredible waiter! I did not know much about sushi until i met him, he guided me through the menu and gave me a thurough run down and helped me decide on what would be the best sushi i've ever had! Shoutout to you rudy! Great food, great vibe, GREAT SERVICE!
It’s been almost three years since this place has been on my list, and I’m so happy I finally discovered it. I absolutely loved the experience from start to finish. The sushi is truly high quality. Everything was incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. You can really feel the care and precision behind every dish. What genuinely surprised me was the price. For this level of quality and experience, it was lower than I expected, which made the evening even better. Our waiter, Rey, was excellent and made the experience even more enjoyable. Attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind, he added a personal touch that made us feel very well taken care of.An amazing experience overall and definitely a place I’ll be coming back to. 🍣✨
We had such a great experience here! The food was amazing. Elrey was fantastic. It was such a lovely surprise to see him again since we first met him when he owned Junjun. It was so nice reconnecting with a familiar face. We gave him free range to choose our plates, and everything he picked was incredible.
The food was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh! My partner and I usually order online every Saturday, but this time we decided to visit the restaurant in person. It turned out to be a wonderful and fun experience; big thanks to our waiter, Ruddy, for making it even more enjoyable!
Everything was beyond perfection ! Best sushis ever.
An absolutely beautiful sushi spot with an elegant atmosphere. The chefs are Japanese, and you can truly taste the authenticity and craftsmanship in every dish. The menu offers a great selection of different dishes. We had sashimi and maki rolls. Everything was fantastic. Maki had unique combinations and were perfectly balanced and delicious. Plating was beautiful. A wonderful place for a special evening or simply to enjoy high-quality, beautifully prepared sushi.
Subpar experience yesterday for Valentine's. Terrible service, one hour gap between second and third dish. No effort from waiter to provide explanations nor accommodate us for our bad experience.
Service was really slow and quite rude. Food is good a bit overpriced but still worth a try once. Can get better sushi in montreal.
Spent Valentine’s day here after winning the Instagram giveaway. Rudy made this experience absolutely unforgettable and the food, our seating, and the drinks were spectacular. We will be back.
Such good sushi and high quality fish
Second visit, and the food remains absolutely delicious. The ambiance is warm and pleasantly quiet, making it easy to enjoy conversation. Service, however, didn’t quite match my first experience. When I asked for recommendations and must try, we were simply directed to read the menu. Thankfully, the bartender was far more engaging. We still had a wonderful evening and will gladly return. It may just have been a particularly busy night. That said, for a $500 dinner for two, attentive service is something we generally expect.
Delicious food, must try the scallop and fois gras nigiri!
Wonderful resto for a date night or any kind of celebration. Service is always excellent. Their sashimi is exceptional, a must try. Sushi rolls are non traditional and are on the pricey side. Desserts aren’t very strong. Expect to pay 150$+ per person.
Great family experience.
Best real sushi hands down
Very bad experience honestly. We got sick from the sushi and it was not up to our expectations. The server (Mathieu i think) was unfriendly as well
We went there for a date night and left extremely satisfied with our experience! We sat at the sushi bar so we had the chance to see how dedicated the chefs were. Every dishes were meticulously put together and so delicious ♡ We had a very pleasant time with our waiter, Ray. He was patient and a good listener. He helped us choose our dishes and recommended the best ones ! Very welcoming and fun!
Beautiful and intimate ambiance. Food was excellent. The Wagyu sushi roll is a must try, it was more than I would spend on sushi but every single bite was worth it!
Great restaurant and amazing food!
Excellent nigiris, excellent service
