I’m giving this place one star not because of the cost, but because of the principle. We were told at the start that my four-year-old son, who barely eats sushi, wouldn’t be charged. Unfortunately, at the end of the meal, they went back on their word and insisted on charging us, even though the staff had clearly said otherwise earlier. It’s not about the money for us; it’s about being consistent and treating customers fairly.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand your concern and would like to clarify how our pricing works, as consistency and fairness are important to us as well. Our restaurant offers two dining options: all-you-can-eat and à-la-carte. Our child pricing policy (posted at the entrance) applies to the all-you-can-eat option and is based on participation, not on how much sushi is consumed. Children aged 4 are therefore charged the children’s price when they take part in all-you-can-eat dining. During your visit, an à-la-carte option was available for your child. However, this option was declined by yourself, and food items from the all-you-can-eat menu (including dumplings and other cooked items) were ordered for your child. This selection places the meal under the all-you-can-eat policy, regardless of whether sushi was eaten. If any earlier communication caused confusion, we regret that. To resolve the situation calmly at checkout, we already applied a goodwill adjustment, which is significantly below the standard children’s price. We will continue to reinforce clear communication with our staff so expectations are fully understood at the start of the meal. We appreciate constructive feedback and remain committed to treating all guests fairly and consistently.
