Food : Bussing in my mouth Service : Out of this world Atmosphere : Good skibidi summer vibes The service was outstanding, I had my water filled every 6-7 secondes 🫴🫴. The waitress was super Sigma frl frl. Low-key the best pasta I had ever. This place had me rizzed up.

The food was descent and I had a good experience overall. But one thing I would like to flag is that I was put under pressure in regards to the amount of money I want to tip. And it has come to my notice that the management isn't paying enough to their employees and their pay rely on the tip amount. Which sounded odd to me. And I empathize With the staff. But the way they spoke is no way to communicate with a customer who is already paying hefty for their food at the restaurant.

Indeed, service in Quebec and North America in general is not included and those in all restaurants, we pay our employees in the dining room as everywhere else but it is true that their salary also depends and mainly on tips as mentioned before for all restaurants in Quebec. We asked if we could sit outside, but the manager told us that unfortunately, the two tables outside were for four people and we would have to sit inside. I suggested that we could split one into two tables of two, but he insisted it wasn't possible. So we accepted it. To my surprise, just minutes later, he gave one table to a couple who came after us, and then the other table to another couple who also arrived after us. I asked him why he didn't give us a table outside, and he literally just ignored me. We were people of colour, and the people he let sit outside were local white folks. It's extremely rare in my life that I run into issues of race, colour, or gender, but it was very obvious that he didn't want to give us a seat because we looked a little bit different from him. The food was good, but the service and overall experience were terrible."

Please believe that we take these allegations with the utmost gravity. Since your visit has occurred over a year ago, it is difficult for us to know what really happened then, the only explanation we have regarding this event, is that most people from our team are from Quebec and English is not their native language, it might have caused a misunderstanding. The tables were most certainly reserved and that is why they couldn’t give either of them to you. Since then, we have stopped taking reservations outside, so this wouldn’t be an issue anymore. What a great place. Walked by on our way back to hotel and saw this lovely restaurant which happens to also be my wife's name. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Best pizza I’ve ever had.

The signature cocktails are original - the Aquila (mezcal&aperol) was very good. Everyone’s meals (focaccia, pizza, salmon, beef tartar, pasta and ravioli du moment which was duck stuffing) was tasty though the pizza was just ok. Unfortunately after our cocktails and entrés no one came to ask if we wanted anything else although I had said we’d be taking wine. So we were starting our main courses before we were able to order our wine. Also our water glasses were never refilled during the meal, it was only done so when we were on dessert. So a bit of work is needed on the service. But the waitstaff was friendly and courteous. The ambiance is lively and modern chic.

The host was rude and waited for me to say 'bonsoir' before helping us since 'we are in a French speaking city', bad first impression upon arriving. Our server was basically non existent and never followed up with us once she took our orders. No offer of another drink or a check in to see if we needed anything...we had to get up to find pepper and water. My friends liked their meals, my mushroom pasta was a bit tasteless.

We were 5 for dinner. Our food was great. We had the meal salad, muscles, pasta, pizza and steak. They all arrived at the same time (not by our server), and we never saw anyone again. No one asked if we needed anything - salt, knife, water, another drink… nobody!

Stella Brasserie Italienne is a true downtown Montréal gem, perfectly located for anyone catching an evening show (Quartier des Spectacles). We booked a table for 2 people sort of last minute on a busy Thursday, and given the place was packed, we happily accepted bar seats. It turned out to be the best decision! The moment I sat down, I was greeted by Maxime, the barman, who was incredibly courteous and very friendly. He instantly prepared a delicious craft cocktail and offered flawless service throughout the night. The food was just as exceptional. The pizzas were truly phenomenal; the difference is in the details: the dough was perfect, the sauce was tasty and fresh, and the ingredients were top-tier. Stella Brasserie Italienne has that perfect combination of electric energy, great location, a top-notch staff, and a great Italian menu. We’ll absolutely be back! Highly recommend booking your future pre-show dinner here.

Charming location. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Food was horrible. Carpaccio with too but way too many sun dried tomatoes. The parsnips puree was way but way too sweet. The pizza my spouse took was very good though. The foccacia did not have the texture of a foccacia. Too dense to call it a foccacia. The dessert was some sort of lava cake. Baked for too long, no lava inside. Food was very dissapoing to say the least. We are happy we tried, we wanted to like it as we live close by but not going back there. They need to get a chef that tastes the food before letting this out.
