I surprised my husband with a dinner for Valentines' Day here this year. He had no idea where we were going, On the day I just told him the address to drive to and "surprise". We went to the St Antoine location.Neither of us had ever been to SteakFrites before, but I thought he'd like it, as we love steak for celebrations and he always always orders fries with this steak.This restaurant very quickly became one of my very favourites. On every level, there was just nothing I could have asked for to make it a better experience.It was a busy night from the start and every table was full, being it was a Saturday AND Valentines' Day as well. The service was wonderful all the way through, from the waitress immediately bringing us an ice bucket with ice and opening our drink for us. The food came quicker than expected given how full the restaurant was. And they do offer to refill your fries during the meal, and they did come to offer us that at just the right time.We LOVED the food. We shared a Chateaubriand for two and it was amazing. I love Chateaubriand and not that many places serve it. My husband pronounced the food was excellent. Even the 3 sauces that came with it tasted amazing. The green beans and mushrooms were so buttery. The beef was so tender.The coffee and apple pie with ice cream were also very very good. with a drizzle to caramel on the pie.The lighting was just perfect. Just so relaxing. We just really really had a wonderful time I am already planning when we can should back.

The food here is incredible!! Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Menu is small which means they really focus on there items. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is soft and appealing.

The food was good and the service was average. We went to celebrate my mother's birthday, and we brought our own cake, as I understand you have your own cakes and you don't want to lose the "sale" of a cake, the fact that you charge extra $4 per person to "cut the cake" it's very cheap. In addition, the waitress broght the cake with a candle without any warning and just put it on the table. It would be appreciated if she asked us before if we were ready for the cake... just small details ✨️

Thanks for the great feedback , but you have to understand that our restaurant is already a BYOB ( bring your own wine ) that’s why we don’t want people to bring their own dessert also , thank you for your understanding

As our party Arrived, we were warmly greeted and seated promptly. Service was attentive, and our guest of honor recognized. The appetizers and steaks were perfecto.

Had a great New Year’s Eve dinner with our 3 teenage kids. We all had different steaks and all were good. The mushrooms with the Chateaubriand were delicious. The BYO concept is fun, especially on New Years.
