I had a very disappointing experience with Steak Frites. My friends and I tried to make a reservation on two separate occasions and were told by the staff member who answered the phone that the restaurant was completely full. However, after this happened twice, we had someone else call the restaurant and ask for a reservation in French, and suddenly a reservation was available. This situation was extremely frustrating and left us feeling that we were being treated differently simply because we were not speaking French. Restaurants should welcome all customers regardless of the language they speak. Being told there is no availability, only to find out that there is when someone calls in French, feels unfair and unprofessional. We were excited to try this restaurant, but this experience left a very negative impression. I hope the management takes situations like this seriously and ensures that all customers are treated equally and respectfully in the future.
