Wow for a restaurant with a 4.9 rating we certainly expected much more. It all began as we entered the hotel lobby to go to the restaurant stand where 2 servers are engaged in conversation ignong our arrival as they complete their very engaged conversation about who knows what (,it was all in French and we are American,,) finally they turn to us and we are, after they go and check, showed to a choice of tables that we can have right next to each other. We were never asked if we wanted to sit outside. We chose one of the tables and sat down inside the main dining area. First thing we noticed is the hihat lighting which is shining down like spotlights on the diners who happen to be under them and the slamming of the door to the outside area over and over again and the clanking of plates and the lights every time they open a cooler door. I honestly almost said let's just leave but decided to stick it out and hope it gets better. Well, not quite. We had a large guy waiter start our table and he didn't even ask us if we wanted a drink. instead asking if we were ready to order 2 minutes after sitting down. We ordered drinks then he returned for food order. He brings the drinks and pours me a taste of the wine in the wrong glass. We ordered the bacon app and the Delmonico steak. He proceeded to walk away and I stopped him and said "Did you ask us how we wanted the steak cooked,?" He looks at his pad of paper and says , "oh I'm sorry. How?". I'm so turned off by then we honestly should have left. He delivers the bacon app then flames it for 10 seconds and can't get the flame to work has a coworker come over to help and then he gets it to work ,,(a true comedy of errors) we thought he would ignite our hair! And after All that the bacon was cold when we went to eat it. Simply a terrible presentation! Then we had to ask for small plates as we're sharing the app. It was after this that we were suddenly being helped by other waIters and our original waiter was gone without a message from anyone that he was no longer helping us. It was so irritating that the waitress of the table next to us kept squeezing in between our table and theirs to take their order and serve them with her long curly hair moving over our table. I had to keep watching forfalling hair (I have long hair too, so I know how it can fall out and float right over to our plates). She should have stood at the end of the table to wait on them. Honestly at least if the food had been fabulous it would have garnered you an additional star but the steak (Delmonico)was was not very seasoned and not very tasty. It had so much fat on it. Now we love Delmonicos but this one was very thin and fatty,! The potatoes were under cooked too. Then a loud party of 7 boys walk in and trust me they were already 2 sheets to the wind. Loud and disorderly it just added to the night. I'd say to avoid this restaurant and visit others elsewhere. There are so many to choose from that this one does not need to be on your list.

The restaurant came with good reviews and thats why we came here. The food was cooked to perfection and really something to look forward to. It met all of our expectations. Purely for the food, we would visit again. The service was good - on this night it was very busy. They were professional with some little things that got forgotten due to high workload and end of day time. Sadly we were placed at a table right beside the kitchen and wine fridges. There was no door separating our table from this. Hence we got to experience the busy workplace on a busy night. There was nothing the service could do about it - the table is just placed that way. The decor is tasteful and makes for a warm and cozy feeling in general. If we'd had a different table our experience would have improved significantly. Definitely a recommended spot for steaks. They also had a great selection of seafood. Keep in mind to reserve a table to even get a spot.

This stake house has a lovely environment and a very pleasant atmosphere. ​The food was equally impressive. the steak was prepared well and quite flavorful. the sides were exceptionally tasty and complemented the meal perfectly. It is a great spot for anyone looking for a nice ambiance and a solid meal!

Where do I start ? First off the waitress (blonde woman French Parisienne) EXTREMELY RUDE. She has no customer service skill. Water had to be asked 4x before receiving water. We were told do not use the block always to ring me I will come see you myself which she barely did and there was even a lot of tables taken. The restaurant was pretty empty. We ordered New York steak and asked for medium. It was extremely cooked and the fat was full of tendance and nerves. The vegetables were overly cooked. I ordered Mussels that more than half were empty. Very disappointing. When you’re paying this type of price for steak. The steaks should be done as asked and the service should be A1. I can’t explain how horrible the service was from her. Extremely rude and not even a thank you at the end of the night. Never again.

My sis and I had a great time at Steak Avenue!! Pascal was an amazing server who went out of his way to serve, be kind, smile, making sure we were okay with the food! The steaks were also PHENOMANAL!!!! Thank you, Pascal!

I've been to steakhouse's all over the world. Steak Avenue is now one of my favorites. The food was second to none. Great location
