An American company has no place being attached to such an iconic and historical Canadian landmark. Especially when Canada has lots of coffee companies that can offer the same experience.
Reviews / Ratings for Starbucks Coffee Company
We went in for a cappuccino and a black coffee with some milk. Not sure what happened but the coffee was the worst coffee we've ever had. Both, cappuccino and the coffee with milk were so watered down and bland, it was essentially undrinkable. I am no coffee connoisseur by any means and can drink almost anything, but this was really bad.
How could you get me better! Phenomenal!
I found some mini city cups with the barcodes removed. Since I know the original price, I tried to buy two—but they were about $24 each, around $28 with tax. That’s crazy.
Literally twice the price of any other Starbucks in Canada. Holy smokes!
The girl at the door lies - she closes half hour earlier, despite website saying 6pm. Every day you come at 5pm, 530pm she just closes and claims it's 5pm
My friends and I came here after unsuccessfully trying to get coffee at another shop. It was a cold day, and we were running on little sleep from the past few days, lots of walking and hardly any food 😂. We were all a bit delirious and cranky. One of the guys lined up at Starbucks while some of us walked around. I wanted to find a washroom, but there wasn’t one nearby 😬. Starbucks was packed, and customers were buying tons of food. It’s actually part of the Fairmont Hotel, but the door to the hotel was closed. Finally, someone opened it, and I ran in so fast 💨, carefully noting the direction to the washroom. Meanwhile, my friend had finally gotten his order from Starbucks and started looking for everyone including me. He tried to call, but the signal didn’t go through, so he panicked 🤣. As for me, I got a little confused on the way out since all the doors looked the same once they were closed, and people didn’t speak English. I was disoriented for a few mins. Eventually, I found my way back. By then, my coffee was cold and my cookie stale. It was only a 10-minute adventure, but while the food wasn’t great, it definitely made for an entertaining story.
They help me a lot, super nice service especially from mizuki from kris
Flavourless yet extremely expensive coffee. After decades of making coffee, I'm not sure how Starbucks can leave out the main ingredient completely.
Great location and beautiful setting. but unfortunately the coffee was very disappointing. The flat white tasted weak and felt mostly like milk rather than a proper espresso-based drink. This was the worst coffee I’ve had at a Starbucks compared to other locations. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location.
