I tried the chicken biryani at Sri Ganesha in Complexe Desjardins, and overall, it was a very good experience. The taste felt authentic, with a nice balance of spices and original flavour. I asked for mild spice, but it was still a little strong for me, so people who prefer very mild food may want to mention that clearly. The portion size was generous and could definitely be more than enough for one person. The staff were friendly and supportive, which made the experience better. I recommend including raita with the biryani, as I expected it. Overall, good food, friendly service, and a satisfying experience. My rating will be more like 4.5.

Ordered the mango drink and lamb spinach curry, it came with rice, potatoes, peas, Nan bread, and spinach lamb curry was freshly made with options for mild, medium or spicy. Large generous portions. Little wait time. Great spot for Indian food

At first, I hesitated to come eat at Sri Ganesha because I wasn’t familiar with Indian cuisine. But I decided to give it a try and completely fell in love with it ,, especially the butter chicken dish. Big shout out to this kind young man for his patience, kindness, hospitality, and help throughout the experience. Amazing food and amazing service! Guuuys!, don’t hesitate, it definitely deserves a try!

The food is very tasty and also it is extremely hygienic as they wear gloves and provide the food in individual containers and also additional containers on request which is useful to mix the food as per your taste especially if you have curry or dal with rice. The biryani, mango lassi, naan, rice and dal are delicious.

Just thought I'd try this place as I love Indian food. The girl at the counter was very kind. I ordered the chicken korma (my favourite) the food did take a little long but it was worth the wait- honestly it was better than the one in the time out market and it was honestly better than most takeout Indian takeouts ive had in Montreal. Portion was huge I couldn't finish it haha but it was delicious! I'll be back! My only feedback would be the naan would be enjoyed more if it was warm, mine was like out of the fridge. See you next time!

Very friendly and welcoming staff, it’s my 3rd time coming here on my lunch break and the food never disappoints. Ordered the chicken tikka that comes with a side of salad.
