Terrible service, and mediocre food. We visited this past Friday, and after four visits, I can confidently say that the experience gets worse every single time. It took 30 minutes just to place our order, followed by another 40 minutes to receive our food. Our drinks were completely forgotten, and we had to repeatedly ask for them. The worst part was the happy hour experience. We ordered three appetizers during happy hour, but none of them ever arrived. When we followed up after 6 p.m., the staff told us they hadn't realized we were actually ordering! By then, it was 6:05 p.m., and they refused to honour the happy hour pricing because the promotion had ended. So, because of their mistake, we were expected to pay full price for items we had ordered on time. To make matters worse, we had deliberately ordered a smaller dinner because we were expecting those three appetizers. Instead, we were left with an incomplete meal and almost no effort from the staff to make things right. And just when we thought the experience couldn't get worse, it took another 30 minutes to get the bill. We had to ask two other servers just to get someone's attention so we could finally pay and leave. The food is mediocre at best, but the service is a bad joke.

Really disappointed experience. Food tasted bland, really bad. Waitress forgot our cocktails we had to check with her after 15 minutes. We had to tell the bussboy to come clear the table after we finished eating. Nobody came to clear the table after 20 minutes. The bussboy had his nail dirty. First and last time. Not worth it.

The malfadini and something they conjured as spaghetti aglio aglio (a request) with a coffee and soda came up to over $80. Both dishes taste terrible. If an Italian restaurant chef can’t cook a basic dish like aglio aglio - something is very wrong. Plus to make it spicy - they gave a saucer of orange hot sauce to pour into the mix. One of the most horrible dining experience I ever had.

I’ve been to Spuntino a few times and usually have a really good experience! The food is always good and the vibe is really nice. One time our food came out cold, but they handled it really well and gave us a discount, which I really appreciated. Overall still a good spot and I’d come back!

First time ordering from them. I wish I were hungry enough for their whole salad menu as it is so hard to pick everything sounds good. Their insalata Di Cavolo Nero is excellent. Other places serving kale salad should learn from them on how to prep and chop kales. Will definitely recommend!!!

I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience here for my bridal shower! From the very beginning, the organization, attention to detail, and genuine care from the entire team made the whole experience feel incredibly special. A special thank you to Nadia who was such a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. She was so lovely, kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything was perfect. Having her personally involved made me feel so comfortable and confident that my bridal shower was in the best hands. You could truly feel how much she cared about the event and about making the day special for us. What impressed me the most was how much time and effort the team put into planning the event, both with me and behind the scenes. They were thoughtful, attentive, organized, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly what I had envisioned. I always felt like I was in good hands, and that gave me so much peace of mind leading up to such an special day. On the day of the bridal shower, everything came together beautifully. The team was absolutely excellent; welcoming, professional, attentive, and so pleasant throughout the entire event. You could really tell that everyone cared about making the day memorable for us, and that level of service made such a difference. And the food was AMAZING! Everything was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The portions were incredibly generous, and there was truly more than enough for everyone to enjoy. The display of the food was also beautiful and elegant, and it added so much to the overall atmosphere of the shower. Thank you so much to Nadia and the entire team for all of your hard work, care, patience, and attention to detail. You helped make my bridal shower everything I could have hoped for and more. Unfortunately, Spuntino has been a hit or miss for us. The eggplant parm is phenomenal. One of our bolognese pasta orders was not salted and came with a different pasta shape (perhaps an error?). The vibes are great (love the terrasse on Victoria Ave!!) and the service is standard.

This is such an amazing spot ! We ate on the back terrace (on Victoria), it's charming and romantic but also suitable for friends or families. The food was delicious and the Italian tomato sauce brought me back to my Nonnas home cooking. The cocktails are also very good. We wete attended by Axel who was awesome, he was welcoming, friendly and provided us with great advice when ordering our food. We will definitely visit again soon !

Sadly had many of the things that could have made it great, but service simply couldn't keep up with the tables they had. We went for a 21st birthday dinner with my grandparents, table of 5 and reserved ahead of time. In theory everything went well at the beginning, good menu and good overall vibe. It started to go downhill an hour into our service, when we still hadn't been served our entrées (cold salads) and a lemonade. Given that resto was half full at that point it didnt seem reasonable and we started to feel ignored. Entrée was missing the side of chicken, came after. Then another hour for our main meal (we had now been there for two hours). While waiting we had to ask multiple times how long it would take and at this point my 90+ year old grandparents were completely fading and very hungry. Practically had to beg for some bread to keep us going. Meal finally came 2 hours and 15 min after we got there, warm (thank god) and the food itself was good but considering our frustration at this point and the fact the meals were basically pasta and cooked eggplant, felt underwhelming. Poured our own wine. Another 40 minutes for dessert (offered for free luckily). The entire thing took 3 hours and 15 minutes for a three course meal and bill. It was clear by the end the kitchen they have cannot accommodate the extension they built and they were not prepared for a proper Saturday night crowd. Waiters did their best but didnt seem to be able to actually help. Manager also tried to justify the wait time which was objectively unreasonable. Unfortunately this ruined the whole atmosphere of the birthday party we wanted to have. It was my first time here and didnt leave a good impression. Hope they fix these service issues as it's just not up to standard for a Westmount restaurant and certainly not what we would expect for a family special occasion.

We had dinner here yesterday. The food and drinks were delicious, and we enjoyed the pastas. However, the service was disappointing: it took 30 minutes for our order to be taken and another hour for the dishes to be served. There were also several organizational issues, such as the fact that the dishes were served to everyone except two guests, and later the staff could not identify which dishes had been brought out. The service needs improvement.

First time here and let me tell you it was amazing! Our waitress Eva was attentive and made great recommendations, her coworker Yohan was funny and a great worker, our water glasses were never empty. Bravo!

The outside garden is pretty , not a fan of the inside colour.. reminds me of grandmothers My salmon was delicious.. the only thing that didn’t sit well with me is that I paid $6 for a cup of tea.. that’s just wrong .. first and last visit

We were there last night with my 2 teenage kiddos they know right away what to order lasagna really good and bolognese i just hope there's piece of baget to dip it in the sauce🤭 calamari good too and i had prosciutto cotto pizza which im craving for more See you we will be back and will try the tiramisu❤️❤️❤️

Somehow worse than Donato, the same owner's other Westmount spot. He's also behind the burger place down the block, which is its own flavour of forgettable. Three restaurants, three misses, all opened within about a year of each other. The place appears to be aiming for a young-and-clubby thing that feels out of place in this neighbourhooda. The servers are kids: shy, apologetic, visibly unsure of what they're serving. The food? The tuna salad was made with canned tuna. Not *tasted like*. Was. Salt and tin. The pizza had the specific limpness of something that arrived frozen and got reheated in a hurry.
