I’ve been a loyal Sparta customer since their very first location near Atwater in 2012, and until now I’ve never had a single complaint. Sparta built its reputation on serving the best freshly grilled chicken in Montreal, and that consistency is why so many of us keep coming back. Naturally, I was thrilled to see a new location open in Laval. Unfortunately, our visit today was disappointing—the chicken didn’t taste freshly grilled and seemed reheated. What makes this even more surprising is that Sparta has always managed to deliver fresh food even when packed with customers, yet the Laval location was empty on a Friday evening. As someone who has supported Sparta for over a decade, I truly hope they take this feedback seriously and bring back the quality that made them a staple in Montreal.

Dear Sparta Administration, This was not the Sparta I know. I absolutely love the Downtown and Côte-des-Neiges locations, but what I experienced today at the Laval branch was very disappointing. The chicken tasted as if it had been cooked 2–3 days ago, and the fries were cold. I’m genuinely concerned that my family and I might end up with stomach issues. I hope this can be addressed promptly. I truly want the Laval Sparta to do well, but today’s experience was far below expectations. I’ll give it another try next month and hope to see improvements
