We were staying at the hotel the restaurant is attached to and on our last night we decided to have supper locally before heading back home. The staff were amazing and very friendly. The portions were huge and delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The fries and rice were on par. The calamari was hot and crispy. Overall if you are in the courtyard and can’t decide which restaurant to try. Try this one first. They have a patio as well.

Good experience at Souvlaki Bar (Espace Montmorency) We visited Souvlaki Bar at Espace Montmorency in Laval and had a very good overall experience. I ordered the Massacre de Zeus, and my wife had the plate of grilled chicken. Both meals were fresh, well-served, and came in generous portions. My dish was hearty and flavorful with a nice variety of meats and sides, while the grilled chicken plate was simple, well-cooked, and satisfying. The chicken was juicy and nicely grilled, and the sides complemented the meals well. Everything felt consistent and well-prepared. Service was friendly and efficient, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed even during a busy time. The atmosphere is modern and lively, making it a great casual dining spot in Espace Montmorency. Overall, a solid experience with good portions, fresh food, and reliable Greek comfort dishes. I highly recommend!!!

I ate there yesterday the waitress was rude agressive and cold to us for no reason. I guess she saw two teenagers and decided to be rude. I have friends who also got her as a waitress and WARNED me about her. Thats not normal

I’m honestly really upset about the service I received. I came in today at 5pm, was about to be seated, but chose to order one of their chicken plates for takeout instead from the exact same menu for dine in clients. I paid, left a 15% tip, and waited. A few minutes later, I realized there was traffic on my way home and the food would get cold, so I politely asked if I could just eat there instead. There were clearly empty tables, but the staff made it unnecessarily difficult. The girl who took my order told me I could only sit at the empty bar, then after talking to another employee, that second girl came to me with a cold attitude, no smile, and told me I’m not allowed to eat in because I ordered takeout even though I paid same price as everyone else sitting and tipped. They said the restaurant was full and the empty tables were “reserved,” yet two girls walked in after me. They had no reservation and got seated right away. The way I was treated was rude and unwelcoming. Really disappointing experience.

I am extremely disappointed with the service my 14-year-old son received at the Montmorency location today (March 29, around 5:00 PM). He was there with his hockey team and, being a young teenager who isn’t used to handling bills without his parents, he unintentionally forgot to add a tip. Instead of handling the situation with professionalism or discretion, the waitress chose to loudly call him out and embarrass him in front of the entire group. This behavior was confirmed by other parents who were present. Whether it was a quiet reminder or a loud outburst, he would have left the same tip—but choosing to publicly humiliate a child is completely unacceptable. We expected much better service from Souvlaki Bar and are very frustrated by this lack of common courtesy

Great place to eat before a Victoire game (A+ for location)! The food is OK, the fries are delicious, but the service is what really impressed me. Our waitress Megan was so helpful, sweet, kind and on top of it! Kudos to her and her team

If you travel to Laval or even live here, you must do yourself a favor and visit Souvlaki Bar. On top of having the best greek food Ive had in a long time, the service is really good! Big shout out to Rudy, he was super friendly and lightning fast!!

Worst experience ever. I ordered a full box of calamari via Uber, which cost me $28, and I didn’t even receive half a box. I totally regret ordering. I had a headache, couldn’t cook, and hadn’t eaten lunch, so I ordered food instead. Honestly, if you take advantage of people ordering through Uber like this, you don’t deserve to run a restaurant.

Atmosphere was electric, it was packed, we had to wait 20 minutes for a seat. great staff at the door, well greeted. Waitress probably having a rough night, was not really on until it was time to pay the bill. everyone has an off day. Food was a little on the salty side, I was surprised. This place came recommended from a friend. I had the meat plater and I like their twist on their greek salad

Rudy was one of the absolute best servers I've ever had in any restaurant. The food was delicious! Service amazing and Rudy was friendly, hilarious, made the best suggestions and was so unbelievably pleasant! Would 10000% go back there again in a heartbeat. It is very rare you go to a restaurant now and have nothing to complain about. Souvlaki Bar was that place!
