Small cozy restaurant serving delicious out of this world Turkish food! Service is impeccable! Our 3rd time only this week and we are hooked!! Missing air conditioning tho! Place was a bit hot but over all I’d give it a 5 stars eyes closed!

2nd review: I Just came here 3 days after going for the first time when the chicken doner tasted really good, but I’m very dissapointed with the same exact meal this time. First, the chicken was extremely soft with skin stuck to every single piece of chicken and chewy. after eating a few bites I was disgusted, I didn’t even eat half the plate before my appetite was completely gone and as I write this I can still feel the skin inside my stomach. I saw another review of someone saying the chicken doner is hit or miss. I’ll tell you why. They’re using old chicken. I couldn’t differentiate meat from skin because it was so soft. Chicken doner or shawarma has to be crispy and tender, not soft and chewy. This tells me that they’re using the chicken from yesterday that is being reheated and cooked on the spit again. The first time it wasn’t like this which confirms to me they’re using old chicken. It didn’t have any taste and had a strong chicken smell being masked by the marination. The lahmacun BARELY had any meat on it, i don’t understand the price and quality ratio ( zoom in the pic there’s so many empty spots the meat is also mixed with vegetables so it barely had anything). The service this time was different than the first time. Water was served way after we got the food, and being served took longer as well. they looked unorganized and felt like they did not want to serve us. I thought it would be my new favourite Turkish restaurant but I’m not coming again my stomach is very upset from the skin I ate. Complete waste off money, this is not Turkish food. With Turkish doner you don’t put skin into every piece of the meat, everyone knows they do this to save money and give you less for what you paid for. Disgusting. Youre going to poison people and I’m pretty sure I’m going to get food poisining now. Multiple people have complained about the chicken issue and you guys haven’t learned or the more likely answer is you don’t care. I wasted my money and hope they don’t benefit from my money. 1st review: Only mistake was going on a hot day as there is no AC or maybe it wasn’t working, but the food is very very good and authentic. They know what they’re doing. The Adan’a actually looks and tastes like Adana, and the chicken doner was fantastic and big portion.

Beef was dry and no taste, fries are soggy, they dont give any sauce with the plates. There are much better turkish spots in laval. Won't be coming back

I feel like this place is hit or miss. I’ve ordered from them three times through Uber Eats. The first time, I ordered a sandwich and selected lettuce in the options, but when it arrived it was basically just meat, oil, and bread. There were no vegetables at all, so it felt very heavy and greasy. The second time, I ordered the plate for two and it was really good. I had asked for rice but received bulgur instead. Since everything tasted great, I didn’t bother complaining. Yesterday, I ordered the same plate again and it was disappointing. This time they sent rice as requested, but it was very undercooked. Since the rice makes up most of the plate, we couldn’t really eat it. The chicken also seemed off. It had a strange bluish color in some spots and felt dry and crusty. It definitely didn’t seem as fresh as the chicken from my previous order. We ended up not eating much of it (chicken and the rice) because we didn’t want to risk getting sick. Otherwise the meat was good. I don’t know what happened with this last order because my previous experience was really good. That’s why I say this place is hit or miss. When it’s good, it’s really good, but the quality doesn’t seem very consistent. Especially for the price we pay.. i think they should have a better quality control on food they send out.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent food and outstanding service! Sofra Kebab is one of the best places in Laval for authentic Turkish cuisine. We ordered both the Full Platter and the Half Platter, and both were absolutely delicious. The meats were perfectly grilled, tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The rice, fresh salad, and warm bread complemented the meal perfectly. The portions were very generous, especially the Full Platter, which is great for sharing or for anyone with a big appetite. The Half Platter was also an excellent size and offered great value. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a comfortable atmosphere. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent customer service from start to finish. If you’re looking for authentic Turkish food with generous portions and amazing flavors, Sofra Kebab is a must-visit in Laval. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be back!

We had a really great experience at Sofra Kabab! We ordered the 4-person grill platter, and the portion size was amazing. The meat was so juicy, tender, and seasoned to perfection. By far one of the best places we’ve tried! The kunafa was absolutely delicious and the perfect way to finish the meal. From the generous servings to the quality of the food and service, everything was 10/10. Definitely a must-visit spot you will for sure come back again!
