In almost every global city now finding something authentic and not overrun with tourists feels nearly impossible. This place checks all the boxes. Great local vibe, not a touch of hipsterism, great service and the smoked meat sandwich was phenomenal. 10/10 for flavor and freshness. Melt in your mouth. If I'm back in Montreal, I'll definitely return.

Sandwich was delicious and abundant. The smoked meat tasted kind of like mortadela, it was great👍🏻 Food+ drink was 20 before tips which is pretty good

Tried Snowdon Deli in Montreal and had their hot brisket sandwich, which was delicious! The brisket was incredibly tender and practically melted in your mouth, making it the highlight of the meal. Service, unfortunately, had a few hiccups. We weren’t acknowledged by our assigned waitress, so another waitress working on the other side happened to pass by and stepped in to help us. It wasn’t until about 10 minutes later that our assigned waitress finally showed up to take our order, only for us to let her know that we had already been served. Overall, the food was great, and the brisket sandwich definitely delivered. Hopefully, the service can be a bit more attentive and organized, as the dining experience would have been much better without the initial confusion.

Nothing special, certainly didn’t live up to the hype! Very, very busy due to the location rather than the food we were served. My partner had the latke terribly tough and dry, I went for the smoked meat sandwich and found that at first glance it looked like it was made without any care at all. Two very different slices of rye bread one much smaller than the other, made it very difficult to eat with the meat falling off the bread. We chose to believe that this experience was just our bad luck and hope that everyone else has a better experience than we had!

Amazing smoked meat, I've been to a lot of places and Snowdon deli's smoked meat is up there amongst the best, it's juicy and flavorful like it should be, took mine medium fat and I couldn't be happier, will definitely come back again.

Out of all the smoked meat places I've eaten, I love Snowdon Deli's. Their smoked meat is very tender, soft, and it melts when you bite. If you get normal or fatty, it's really tender. Price wise, it's fair but for some people it might be expensive. The service is friendly and quick. I do recommend coming here really early as they close early, plus you can get a good seat and good food! I do recommend the Smoked Meat platter to split with two, Stewart's Root Beer, and potatoes salad instead of fries. Overall, family vibes type of dinner.

Went with my parents for breakfast and had a great time! The service was super nice and speedy, the food was delicious and VERY filling. I had the 2 eggs deluxe and was stuffed till dinner time! I see why my parents love coming here!

Classic Montréal deli and one of the places you should try for a smoked meat sandwich. I had the smoked meat sandwich and a poutine. They give you the option for medium fatty or lean for the sandwich,and I'd recommend medium fatty if its your first time. The poutine is big and can be split with two people. Don't forget to get a cherry soda when you're here. Parking can difficult as its only street parking and this place gets busy but it's well worth it

It's probably the best Cesar Salad in town. Yeah I know, it should be the brisket or smoked meat or whatever else they make but honestly, it's their cesar salad. It's worth every penny.

Went out of our way for this food. Wanted authentic smoked meat but didnt want the craziness of the other 2 big restaurants. 5 minute walk from the subway. We were seated quickly with no wait, service was friendly and fast. Food was delicious. Place is a bit run down but honestly, you're not coming here for the decor.

Had the best time visiting this Deli when in Montreal. Smoked meat was juicy, fries and pickle were perfect!! Service was fun and attentive, will definitely be back when in the city.

One of the best deli sandwiches I have ever had. The staff are amazing and super sweet. Will definitely be back!! Update- went back for the smoked meat which was great but the showstopper was their hot brisket sandwich. Loved it so much that I bought it again for dinner.

Ordered smoked meat from Snowdon Deli and will do it again as now one of my very favourites. Shwartz good no doubt but not best for me. Always preferred both Reubens but now place Snowdon Deli equal. Was fan of Roi du smoked meat but lately disappointed. Delivery Uber for Snowdon Deli a big plus. Tasty, juicy, tender… A real treat. Too bad we don’t have such a delight in my home country France 😩

Unfortunately this was not a great experience:(. The service was fine but the brunch was not great. The beef bacon was so salty it was almost inedible…we ordered two standard breakfasts (fried eggs, bacon, home fries) swapped out toast for bagels & had coffee (refills aren’t free after 11 am?). The bill came out to over $80, for breakfast (2 people).

I had the smoked meat omelette with knish and both tasted fantastic. Even though the place was packed, the service was excellent—my coffee cup was never empty! My wife ordered the smoked turkey sandwich with potato latkes; she absolutely loved the sandwich and the latkes were perfectly crispy and excellent. The presentation is simple and no-frills but the portions are generous. Don't go there expecting a trendy, modern brunch cafe. This is a classic neighbourhood deli with a great retro diner vibe. I highly recommend the Snowdon Deli!

Awesome! Loved the service and the food. It's well worth the drive from the west island. Fantastic smoked meat sandwich and it was huge.
