Yesterday evening, February 27th, we visited the Siam restaurant as usual once a month. Our table was on the first floor, the first on the right. A young, plump, European-looking woman with large black glasses served us. The service was fast and pleasant, I can't say anything bad about it. However, we usually order a lot, and by mistake they brought us chicken in sweet sauce. We thought it was one of the dishes we ordered. The woman then asked if we ordered it, and I replied that I wasn't sure, perhaps it was one of the dishes we ordered, but I could pay if necessary. We do always order a lot, 6-7 different dishes. The woman replied that there was no need to worry since you didn't order it and it wouldn't be included in your bill. I replied, "Okay, thank you." The bill arrived, and I paid without looking and left a 15% tip. The waitress wasn't pleasant anymore and became a little nervous and left quickly. My companion took the bill and was surprised to see $30 included for the chicken we didn't order. I didn't want to ruin the evening with questions and arguments; we got up and left. Regarding the food, there were some unpleasant changes: the portions were smaller, the decorations were worse, and the taste left much to be desired. The sauces were less rich, with more water and fewer ingredients. My friend, an Asian, also noted this. Incidentally, the chicken was also improperly cooked, that's a fact. My conclusion is that I was deceived once, so it's not me who's the fool, but if we go there again, we'll be the fools.

Food was delicious and full of flavors, Fred, our waiter, was absolutely amazing and advised us super well on the menu, he was so nice and genuine, we would've spent the whole night chatting! Beautiful spot near Bell Center ;)

Siam is an excellent Thai restaurant downtown.I’ve been there three times, including Valentine’s Day with friends, and the experience has always been great.Delicious food, very good service, and a warm, lively atmosphere.Consistently enjoyable... well deserved 5 stars.

Again, Siam does not disappoint! Hubby and I had our Valentine’s supper there. The place was busy but it did not feel hectic. The food was amazing, as always. The server was great and their house cocktail was extraordinary! Cannot wait to come back.

We were 4 people on February 13. There was a valentines menu, which had great choices and 99 $ per couple.we all took that and it was really great! We were sharing everything, so we get to taste everything on the menu! The food was full of flavors, very fresh! The service was truly impressive! We are all in awe ! Amazing place , I totally recommend it!

I love the vibe of the restaurant, the service, and the quality of the food vs price, totally worth it. I will come back (we were celebrating a birthday and the cheesecake the restaurant have us was amazing 🎈❤️).

Always enjoy SIAM - the food ( especially the Pad Thai and professional service. Chloe even remembered me even though it had been awhile since my last visit. It's an added touch that really makes a person feel welcome. Also appreciate that they have zero Sapporo beer. Will be back over the holidays.

Went here with my partner. Upon entering, we were coldly asked if we had a reservation, to which I replied no. The guy walked closer and stared at my partner for a solid 5 seconds before looking at another server and asking him to find us a seat. After being seated, we got a new server who brought us the menus. There was a large gap in time from when we received the menus to when the server actually took our order. Server was just walking around making conversation to other servers/customers while we waited to wave him down. While explaining a few dishes to "us", he never once looked in the way of my partner, nor addressed her to ask her if she needed anything. He only asked questions to me, only looked in my direction. When my partner pointed at the menu to inquire about a dish he was very dismissive. The atmosphere is nice, lighting is warm and dim and the interior design is intentional. The food was flavorful and well balanced, but the service left a sour taste in my mouth.

Great food. Mango salad was refreshing. The pad Thai was oily it's sweet than what I've had in Thailand. Could have had more tofu and less veggies. Definitely recommend for Thai food

Stunning! Fresh, bright flavors in all the food items I had. ✅The tom yum soup, while lighter on coconut milk than I am accustomed to, and sans mushrooms, was chock fill of lemongrass, lime, and just the right amount of chili flake. ✅The pad mee was so lovely with its vegetables crisp, vermicelli noodles with perfect bite, and a generous portion of chicken. I, in fact, could not finish the portion on my own. ✅I finished with the sorbet and found them delicious without being overly sweet. Would absolutely return to Siam, and would recommend it to anyone.

Had a pleasant experience at this Thai restaurant in Montreal! I went with a few friends for dinner at Siam for dinner. I ordered the green curry with braised beef and a chocolate lava cake for dessert. The braised beef was tender and flavorful. The green curry was not overly spicy, just perfect for my spice tolerance. The chocolate lava cake was enjoyable too, liked the scoop of ice cream on top. The decor and ambiance was quite nice. I like the dimmer lighting and it wasn't not overly loud inside the restaurant. Service was really good! Our waiter Frederique was very welcoming and walked us through the menu at the start as it was our first time at the restaurant. Always dropped by and checked on how the food was. There was also someone in a white collared shirt walking around all the tables checking on how the dinner experience was going, I appreciated that, I think he might've been the manager. Food came out in a reasonable time considering we were a party of 6 people. Overall, I recommend Siam restaurant!

This is a great restaurant! The staff was so on point, from the welcome, to filling you water, to checking on your table in general! The food was delicious as well! There are great options, not too many to make it confusing, but just enough to have a good variety. We went at lunch for a business meeting and it is a great atmosphere for that too!

Favourite restaurant in Montreal. This place NEVER disappoints. I went here for my birthday and the experience was perfect. The waiter was lovely, the food was absolutely delicious and they gave me a complimentary cheesecake with a sparkler in it which was special. The green curry was amazing but my favourite is the beef pad see ew. The mocktails are great too.

I have tried the WORST Panang Cari in the WORLD today for 33:95 dollars. I am sure chef took special training to make it worst. Secondly, the Mango sticky rice, ohh that's a total SCAM 😂. You can try the Red Cari, that is acceptable.
