Went for Friday night dinner and really enjoyed it! Delicious curries and yummy flavours. Lots of beef in the beef massaman curry and the duck leg was delicious as well.
Very slow service. Clearly under staffed. Food is plentiful but mid.
I ordered dumplings from the vegan section of the menu, but was instead served chicken dumplings. As someone who has not consumed meat for over a decade, this was quite concerning. I wanted to bring this to your attention, as accurate order handling is especially important for dietary preferences and restrictions.
The food was excellent

I’m visiting from Calgary and had the pleasure of dining at Siam here in Montreal where Fred was our server. I can confidently say he is absolutely phenomenal at his job. From the moment we were seated, Fred was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made thoughtful recommendations, checked in at just the right moments, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the entire meal. His professionalism combined with a warm, positive attitude truly elevated our dining experience. It’s clear that Fred takes great pride in what he does, and it shows in every interaction. Service like his makes a lasting impression and turns a great meal into a memorable one. If you’re dining at Siam Thai, you’re in excellent hands with Fred. He’s a true asset to the restaurant, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone visiting or living in the area.
The service was excellent! Julien gave me great recommendations and had a lovely atmosphere at the bar, would definitely come back just for the chill vibes! Lovely guy lovely place overall
Everything was top notch. Highly recommend the duck which is BBQ’d and then cooked in curry. Excellent. Service was exceptional.
The food service in atmosphere we're all good
The peanut chicken and Khao Soi was unbelievable. The servers and staff were all friendly and we cannot wait to return for another meal.
This is the second time I go where the service is horrible. The hostess and workers ignored us for a long time the last time and today the hostess brought us to a table with only 1 chair (we were 2). She then completely disappeared so I had to find one from another table. Then we waited 20 mins with no one coming to us, not even for water. At this point we were starved so we went downstairs hoping for service at the bar. An amazing server then kindly seated us quickly at a table and served us amazingly. Thank you Laurie!
The beef curry is INSANE OMG The portions are extremely generous! Top restaurant in Montreal!
It was my first time at Siam, and I had a wonderful experience. Chloé was incredibly kind and took great care of us. I highly recommend it!
Amazing food with lots of flavor. Staff extremely friendly with great service. Best Thai we have ever had with great atmosphere, food and staff.
The many ingredient salad was so good. Can’t wait to go back and have that with chicken satay!
Service exceptional. Food, meh, nothing special. The coconut shrimp app was overcooked. Duck dumplings didn't taste anything like duck. Too fried and looked like mystery meat. The mango salad was pretty good. Hostes was very friendly, Felix served our table- great service.
Many GF options
Visited during weekday lunch. Great food - the authentic flavors were there. Friendly staff service. Pricing wise - in the expensive side for a Thai restaurant. Perhaps because of the location. Ordered these 2 and water for about $63.
Nice service, dinner and dessert choice. Tried the duck dumplings, yellow curry and shrimp pad Thai. Service on Mar 7 was disappointing as we felt neglected as waiter did not even ask us how our meal was and we had to ask for water to be refilled from person that was bringing out the food. We spoke to hostess and she offered free dessert but we declined. Food was fine.
a strategic stop before a comedy show at the Bell Centre. Downtown, arena-adjacent dining can sometimes be… let’s call it “efficient rather than exceptional.” Our expectations were... guarded. We were wrong. From the first bite of the Drunken Noodles, we realized this was no pre-show compromise. The spice level had just enough swagger to wake up the palate without sending us into a panic-induced milk-chugging spiral. The vegetables were beautifully cooked — vibrant, crisp-tender — and the noodles were deeply savory and generous. When I say generous, I mean the portion could reasonably feed two hungry adults, and still leave you negotiating a few final bites. We tried. We failed. The green curry was equally rich, fragrant, and comforting. The Mango Sticky Rice cocktail nearly stole the entire evening. Sweet, tropical, and indulgent. It was dessert and drink all at once. For a downtown location, steps from the arena, the pricing felt almost suspiciously reasonable. Two hearty mains, a standout cocktail, and we walked out very full and comfortably under $100 for two people. What began as a convenient pit stop turned into a genuinely memorable meal — the perfect (and unexpectedly delicious) opening act to our night.
Had an ah- mazing birthday dinner. Great, lovely vibe 🔥can charge your phone under the seat 💪🏼
Davinder did a great. The meat was so tender Food was great
Dude I found this saved in my phone and came here and the food is so not acceptable. Do not come here.
Yesterday evening, February 27th, we visited the Siam restaurant as usual once a month. Our table was on the first floor, the first on the right. A young, plump, European-looking woman with large black glasses served us. The service was fast and pleasant, I can't say anything bad about it. However, we usually order a lot, and by mistake they brought us chicken in sweet sauce. We thought it was one of the dishes we ordered. The woman then asked if we ordered it, and I replied that I wasn't sure, perhaps it was one of the dishes we ordered, but I could pay if necessary. We do always order a lot, 6-7 different dishes. The woman replied that there was no need to worry since you didn't order it and it wouldn't be included in your bill. I replied, "Okay, thank you." The bill arrived, and I paid without looking and left a 15% tip. The waitress wasn't pleasant anymore and became a little nervous and left quickly. My companion took the bill and was surprised to see $30 included for the chicken we didn't order. I didn't want to ruin the evening with questions and arguments; we got up and left. Regarding the food, there were some unpleasant changes: the portions were smaller, the decorations were worse, and the taste left much to be desired. The sauces were less rich, with more water and fewer ingredients. My friend, an Asian, also noted this. Incidentally, the chicken was also improperly cooked, that's a fact. My conclusion is that I was deceived once, so it's not me who's the fool, but if we go there again, we'll be the fools.
