Thank you for your response and for issuing the refund. That said, I have to be candid, it is difficult to reconcile your findings with what our family experienced. All of us became significantly ill shortly after dining, which makes it hard to accept that there have been no similar reports or concerns from that evening. I am currently in contact with MAPAQ and have formally requested their review of your food handling practices, ingredient storage, and overall due diligence. I have also asked about the possibility of lab testing related to the food we consumed. Based on the timing and severity of symptoms, I remain strongly concerned that this was a case of foodborne illness. While I acknowledge and appreciate the refund as a gesture, it does not reflect the extent of the impact. Our family vacation was effectively cut short, we had to cancel plans, and we are still in the process of recovering. I want to emphasize that I do not take situations like this lightly. Coming from a similar field, I typically approach these matters with understanding and restraint. However, the circumstances here have been serious enough to warrant formal follow-up. I will await MAPAQ’s findings and any additional information that may come from their review. Thank you.

We dined here on May 15 as a group of 10 and spent around $600 including tip. Unfortunately, this turned into a very concerning experience. Several members of our group ordered and shared sashimi and sushi. Within hours of eating, 8 out of 10 people became ill, experiencing vomiting, nausea, stomach upset, and headaches. The fact that the majority of our party got sick so quickly after the meal is extremely alarming. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I understand that issues can happen—but this situation points to a serious food safety concern that needs immediate attention. I strongly urge the restaurant to investigate what happened that night. I also encourage anyone else who dined here around that time and experienced similar symptoms to come forward. As I will be requesting for the authority to have this restaurant checked.

Terrible and rude service. I ordered food online through the restaurant’s website and received a notification that it was ready. When I arrived, I was told it wasn’t ready and that I’d need to wait another 20 minutes or cancel the order through DoorDash. I never used DoorDash, so this made no sense. No one explained why it was involved, and no one apologized for the inconvenience.

I got there and was served by a waitress with really low rise jeans. Then I was sat down and I ordered a soup. Honestly the soup was tasteless. We then got our first order fried wonton, they were drenched in oil and weren’t even hot. I flagged the waitress and canceled the rest of what we had ordered and asked to leave. If you want a good Shogun Sushi go to Saint-George’s in Beauce. The Sushi Shogun is 1000 times better

I phoned for a reservation. No one answered. 45-1 hour wait!! People sitting all over outside the restaurant. The girls are run off their feet! A couple ordered way too much food and should’ve been charged for it and offered a box, but no one helped them. They left at least 4 rolls untouched on their table and left. The drinks are minimal! No tonic! I had one drink and never asked again if I wanted anything. In the end, disappointed ☹️

We were so excited to come here, we love sushi and this place looked promising. We tried calling to make a reservation three times and kept getting hung up on. Not like we were calling during a lunch or supper rush either... when we showed up the service was awful. We stood there and 5 staff members walked past without looking or saying anything to us. We ended up taking takeout because the place was packed, which is fine. However, the sushi was not the best :( when we went to the counter to pick up our order they barely even looked at us, didn't say a single word and just slid us our tray and walked away. Our spicy salmon rolls didn't even all have salmon some were just cucumber and barely any cream cheese. And didn't taste as fresh as other places we've tried. Based on service alone I do not recommend. Very disappointing :/

My friends and I visited this restaurant, and we saw a small mouse nearby entrance and server told us that we should be quiet. And once we moved to our table, I found 4-6 ants just next to wall. I couldn’t take a picture of mouse because the mouse just went through another table. And I ordered sushi and never served for 25 mins. Extreamly slow. And floor wasn’t clean very dirty

Nice, friendly, service but the food was just adequate--batter a bit heavy and oily, seaweed chewy rather than crunchy, edible but not as enjoyable or as much of a treat as I had hoped--but it is all you can eat so I shouldn't be too surprised.

Great sushi place , the AYCE (for about 38$) was great and they gave me a box for my leftovers , overall a very good sushi place , Tip :the entrance is through the hotel , not from the front door
