Sandwiches were good and they were able to accommodate a gluten allergy which I really appreciate. However, there was an awkward customer service experience. I originally ordered a sandwich on gluten-free bread, but several minutes later I was told they actually could not make that sandwich gluten free and was asked to reorder something else instead. That part was understandable, and I appreciated them letting me know. A few minutes after that, I was then asked to come back again because they had forgotten to charge me the extra $3 for the gluten-free bread. I don’t really mind paying for it, but having to repeatedly come back to fix ordering and payment issues made the experience feel disorganized and inconvenient. The employee helping me seemed very new and was very apologetic, so I do not blame them personally. My concern was more with the management side. A manager was present during the interactions, and it felt like more support or guidance could have helped prevent the confusion and made the experience smoother for everyone.
