This restaurant gives single use plastic utensils (the ones that come packed in a little bag with a plastic fork, knife, and spoon). All people eat there with plastic forks that end up straight in the garbage (same for the spoon and knife they didn't even use). This is irresponsible, not to mention illegal in Montreal...

I had the crispy chicken for which I was really excited. I have been severely disappointed. The whole thing was supper blend, it didn't taste like anything. I thought maybe it was a bad batch but some reviews seems to share the experience, I wish I viewed them before. The people were nice, but was maybe worst shawarma I had ever.

Finally tried Shawarma Moods on Monk Street and it did not disappoint. I wrote to them on Instagram right away to tell them how fantastic they really are ! The chicken shawarma is incredibly well seasoned and juicy, with that perfect balance of spices. Everything tasted super fresh the potatoes were crispy, the garlic sauce was amazing, and the pickled turnips added that perfect tangy bite. You can really tell they care about quality and flavor here. As someone who loves trying new spots around Montreal, this one instantly stood out. I first saw their viral crispy sandwich online and knew I had to try them and now it’s officially next on my list. So happy to have a spot like this in the neighborhood on Monk Street. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic, flavorful shawarma.

We decided to try these on a whim. We were excited about the crispy shawarma, but besides the texture being great, it was lacking in flavor and was kind of plain. The service was fantastic but the food disappointed.

Amazing restaurant || The food was absolutely delicious and very fresh food taste smell really different than other restaurants.The service was excellent , they’re very friendly and polite. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Everything was perfect from the start to finish. We will definitely be coming back to this Restaurant ||
