We got a classic poutine and a burger with salad, they tasted good and weren’t so heavy but filling. We also got their drink special of the day which was delicious and good spike to it.

On a Wednesday night we were given a table and water and then after waiting over 15mins without our drink or food order being taken, we left. The couple seated next to us said "yeah, service was really slow". Menu looked good, too bad we didn't get to try it!

We passed by Shakers after dinner for a few cocktails before heading home. The host was super welcoming and offered us a table even though we offered to sit at the bar. Our table was at the back near the bathrooms. It was, to be fair, a very busy Saturday night. Our first order was two Espresso Martinis and they were really good. However, it took some time for our waiter to come back and take our second drink order. When he finally did, we landed on two simple drinks: a dry martini and a godfather. Max three ingredients per drink. Not complex, though even if they were, this spot is advertising specialty drinks. Our second order took well over 20 minutes to arrive. So long that we actually contemplated just cancelling and leaving. It was kind of surprising that the bartenders and waiters were not able to communicate efficiently enough to provide two standard drinks to a couple of middle aged, super friendly customers. When he finally arrived with our second order, only then did he remove our first empty glasses. And getting him back to pay our bill was not easy either. We tipped, but not as much as we first planned. The minute the waiter saw our lower tip, he left and hardly said thank you or goodbye. I understand service and have been a server for half my life. Because of this, it wouldn’t really surprise me if at this point in the experience, people would tip a bit lower. In fact, I’d expect it to be no tip if I gave such sporadic and unpredictable care to a table. Our bill wasn’t small. We paid over 60$+ tax. It’s not like we ordered the cheapest things on the menu. I appreciate and understand that waiters have hard nights and that there’s a lot to contend with. However, when you’re asking people to pay top dollar for drinks and service, you have to expect that they will want to feel significant enough to be checked up on and remembered. Wouldn’t go back, honestly. On the plus side, really decent drinks. 😌

Went for an afternoon drink here & we ended up staying a few hours. The bar staff were amazing, extremely friendy and checked in us but did not bug us. It was nice to be able to sit and chat to my friends without someone asking if we needed anything every few minutes but we're always there if we needed something. Also drink prices were very cheap. Thank you guys, you're the best in Quebec City.

We came in at 8pm on the first Friday night of Carnavale and were told the kitchen was closed. We were surprised by this but ok sure, we sat down to have a drink while we figured out what to do for dinner. Drinks were really decent, but waiter while he was friendly and good when he took our order kind of forgot about us after that, he got busy chatting with other clients and while we tried to get his attention a bunch of times it didn’t work, then we asked other staff for our bill , it never came, eventually we all got up and stood at the door for 5 minutes and were completely ignored by all the staff until we went to the manager and said “we’d like to pay”. Paid and left so we could go get some dinner with a kitchen still open. Nice place , decent atmosphere and drinks but service was not great so wouldn’t recommend for that reason.

The staff was great. Fun, friendly, attentive but not intrusive. General tao chicken was delicious, probably wouldn’t to pork dumplings again. Espresso martini well made. Great place to grab a quick bite
