We've been ordering food from the Shaan Tandoori for years. It's simply the best restaurant for Indian food within a 30-minute drive of where we live (Greenfield Park). We also occasionally go there to eat and when we do we are always very pleased with the atmosphere and the service.

Starting with the positives, the place got an amazing atmosphere, beautiful music playing, kind staff and generous portions. Being my first time, I went with the safest of options, samosa and butter chicken. The samosa was deep fried and a little less filled and less "thick" than I'm used to. The butter chicken was offered as sweet, sweet and spicy and spicy. I chose the spicy version, which was indeed hot/spicy, but was lacking a bit on the flavor dimension, you might have more luck with the mix sweet and spicy version.

Honestly this place is a gem if you love Indian food. Very good prices and great taste in a nice cosy atmosphere. Over the last few years I have done dine-in and a lot of take-out as it is my go-to restaurant for Indian food. There are always heaps of food and super hot and fresh.

Best Indian food on the shore, affordable, and very friendly owners. The dining room is simply a good old school, no fuss space. It is comfortable. With that kind of epic food the decor is secondary by far. BYOW is a bonus.

Great food, the portions are nice.The best indian restaurant in the South shore for sure. The staff is really kind as well. Highly recommend supporting them. There are parking spaces in front of the shop.

Took a family 4 pack and everything was still hot , fresh and tasty once home! In the past, we have also ate there in person; it has a great cozy atmosphere to share dishes with friends and family.
