Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Its a busy spot so suggest getting reservation. I had ribeye and mac and cheese... probably the best steak i ever had. The mac was creamy cheesy and flavorful. I enjoyed my meal very much. My son had the beef tartar and bone marrow. Said it was best beef tatar he has had as well

The server gave us a warm welcome but from there it went downhill. My filet mignon was charred and tasteless although it was cooked at the right temperature. In the menu it said that every steak came with confit cherry tomatoes and horseradish. When the steaks arrived at our table they were missing both of those components. Our sever told us the horseradish was gratted over the top which we could barely see and asked if we wanted her to bring us the tomatoes on the side. Well for $60+, yes I would like to have all the components I am promised on the menu on my plate. She was nice enough to bring us a few tomatoes and some actual horseradish on the side. However, the cherry tomatoes were not confit, they were barely cooked and my garlic mushrooms lacked garlic. Next, my mother is lactose intolerant. She wanted to order the salmon but it was made with a cream sauce. They told us everything except for the risotto was easily modifiable. They said the cream sauce could be made without the cream, but the salmon came out with no sauce at all. She asked to replace the brussels sprouts with mushrooms as she has trouble digesting them but her plate came out with brussel sprouts and a few mushrooms over the top. Thankfully when we sent it back it took little time for them to fix the mistake. The only good part were the drinks and the half cornish hen. We also had the seafood mix for our appetizer, way overpriced but good. The cooks need to be trained better because when you order $60+ steaks you expect something juicy, perfectly seasoned and not charred. As for the servers, please ask them to look over the food before it is brought out to ensure everything is as it says on the tickets. Again for the price of these plates, the service has to be immaculate. Do not recommend.
I've been coming to Sel Noir regularly and it never disappoints. The steaks are consistently on point, perfectly cooked, full of flavour, but honestly the mac and cheese deserves its own mention. Rich, indulgent, and the perfect companion to whatever cut you order. The drink menu is where they really surprise you though, unique cocktails you won't find just anywhere, and they're as well-crafted as the food. Add in attentive service that makes you feel like a regular and a vibe that's moody, lively, and just plain cool, and you've got a spot that's hard not to come back to. If you haven't been, go. If you have, you already know.
The food was delicious, no complaints there. However, the service downgraded as the night went on. We had our personalized menu, which ended up being 75$ per person as long as we ordered what was from the personalized menu. We were still charged more than what was written, and some of the servers were not honest with the prices (saying that a dessert was included within the 75$ when it wasn’t). Lastly, the servers would neglect half of our table. When I asked if they would serve everyone else, they responded by saying that it wasn’t necessary since the end of our reservation was coming up, although we did have time.
I went a few months ago. Seating was very awkward, probably due to having a birthday party happening that night. Everybody kept walking past us and the music was loud. Food was good, prices decent.

Nice little spot for a steakhouse. Dim light and dark ambiance make it into a perfect restaurant even if it's for just a drink. As for the cocktail, I had a NY sour, one of the best I've had. We started it off with the beef tartare served on a bone marrow and for the main plate, we ordered a rib steak with some fries on the side. Steak came out lukewarm at best and it was lacking some salt. Prices were on the more expensive side especially for the bone marrow but all things considered a decent steakhouse.

WoW! The steaks were cooked to perfection; the Tomahawk was so worth it! The service was great. Spent the night celebrating a birthday! We felt recognized and in great hands. Already planning a future celebration here. Oh and the truffle fries yummyyyy
Amazing experience! I came with a group of 10 to celebrate a birthday, and everything was on point.The food was delicious — perfectly cooked tomahawk, rich mac & cheese, and amazing truffle fries. Portions were generous, drinks were great too — my amaretto sour was really well made. Special shoutout to Xavier, who made our night. He explained the menu, gave great recommendations, and made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. Highly recommend — great food, drinks, and outstanding service!
“One of the best steakhouses I’ve been to. The steak was well-flavoured and cooked perfectly. I usually order my steak well done, and many chefs end up making it too chewy or burnt, but that definitely wasn’t the case here. You can tell the chef is a professional. The prices are on the expensive side, but the quality of the meal made it worth it. I really enjoyed my meal.

I wanted to love this place so much… the salmon tartare was a joke, nothing short of disgusting… Brussels sprouts were also really bad, nothing short flavor, no depth, no nothing… you can tell this place is trying. They try to take classics and reinvent them with bold ingredients and their own unique twist which I admire, but if the star ingredient is muffled by everything else, you’re back at square one. I for myself will not be coming back for a while… until they make some changes. I hope this review is taken seriously and that they work on the basics of their menu because this place truly has the potential. Other than that, the staff was awesome for the most part, super friendly wait staff and great drinks.
The food and service were incredible. The service was fast, efficient and friendly. We ordered the salmon tartar the chicken and the risotto. All 3 were better than I expected. Very flavourful and well cooked and prepped. Perfect for a date or casual dining. Very nice ambiance and not too noisy. Special shout out to Desmond for making the experience even more special. Would highly recommend.
I had such a great experience here! The oysters were absolutely delicious, and my favourite dish of the night was the tuna tartare so fresh and full of flavour. The drinks were perfectly made and We also loved our server, Gabriel he was attentive, friendly. I would definitely come back again!

Nice decor and lighting. Server tried his best but some things fell short, he made up for it though which I appreciate. Food was alright, filet mignon was a bit too salty, salad was large but pretty basic except for the fried onions adding some crunch, mushrooms were a good side with a decent portion. Beef tartare was pretty basic, just tasted like mustard. The kumquat caranillo was a smooth caffeinated cocktail.
