Possibly the most overhyped restaurant in Montreal. My laksa soup was almost cold, and just really not good??? they also got the order wrong (brought it to me without chicken, as was ordered). My friend's order was inedible and when we reluctantly mentioned it to them, they wouldnt do anything about it. The service by someone who was possibly the owner was rude. Don't understand the hype and won't be going back to try!

We sat at the bar and had the best experience. Our bartender was so helpful, knowledgeable, and just a great vibe. The place itself is so cool and you can look around your whole dinner just finding cool details on the walls. We loved the cocktails - Singapore sling and some sort of sake tea drink. We also loved the food. Would usually never order tempeh but the tempeh skewers were great as were the chicken ones. So juicy and the peanut sauce was really good. We also loved the coconut braised beef. Would definitely recommend this spot!

Might be the most consistently awesome restaurant in the city tbh Get the sorrel and get some rum in it, and get 1 of everything on the menu 🔥

Amazing food, great experience and vibe. I reserved for a group of 12 and we had a great experience. They don't take reservations for smaller groups, so you often need to wait but it's worth it. Many vegetarian options.

Thought I had covid when I ate the chicken laksa because it tasted like water down version of a laksa that you can get in Asia. The food presentation looked right/fine, portions were small-yish (got chicken satay as well) but there was no flavor. If you are going to be charging $19 for a small bowl of chicken laksa, you'd better get the flavor right. So $19 + $11 for 3 satay skewers with not that good of a taste plus tips and taxes, it's over $30 for flavorless food that you will go hungry again in 30-60 minutes, what are you even doing?

Pretty good food. Some items were salty like the sauce on the bao and some, like the garlic sautéed snow pea leaves were under seasoned. Laksa with chicken was good too but didn't have the depth and creaminess I was looking for.

I was really excited to go here but the food did not meet my expectations unfortunately. Everything is super beautiful but the flavour for me was really disappointing. I missing the bold and nutty flavours of true Singapore cuisine. Would be a cool place for drinks with friends but I would pass on the food again. The service was also really slow but the place is busy so it’s to be expected.

Absolute must go! Walk the market and then come back here hungry to try everything on the menu as nothing disappoints. The satay is plump and juicy yet grilled to absolute perfection. The peanut sauce doesn't fight with the meats but nicely compliments the flavors. The laksa was so flavorful that the kids each are their own bowls and left no drop behind. The baos were so pillowy and the pork belly was incredible. We've come everytime we visit Montreal and the food and experience never disappoints.

We got takeout and the food was mediocre- Looked to be more about the good vibes, than delicious food. Good service!

We were super happy with our experience here. It was busy and the vibes were great. The food was phenomenal and we can’t wait to go back. The service was very casual and that’s one of the things we liked most.
