Long wait but it’s all worth it, yummy food
What guests say about Sapristi St-Jean
Family-run Italian restaurant with a pleasant and often relaxed atmosphere, even when it's busy. Reviews especially highlight the pizzas, pasta, and several dishes described as delicious, with generous portions and prices considered reasonable. The service is generally appreciated as courteous, efficient, and attentive, but a few customers noted service mistakes and poor handling of gluten-free/celiac needs.

A great choice... The risotto was perfectly cooked and delicious!
Good food and drinks
Sapristi was our favourite meal of all 5 days in old Quebec. We had the pizza of the moment with fries and it was the best pizza we’ve ever had!
The calamari was good, not chewy at all but for $18 there could have been a few more pieces on the plate. We took the Di mare and sapristi pasta which tasted okay but both the pastas felt watered down, the sauce was not rich enough. We also took the kids meal which was good for the price. Overall the atmosphere was nice, service was good. The portions and flavour do not match up to the price.
Excellent food and service. Highly recommend!
Great restaurant! Good service and good food. Good place for a date or to meet with friends or family.
The place was busy and popular, even at 5pm, with good staff and nice atmosphere. The food was fine, my risotto was overcooked even though it was the special.
Yummm
We went here with 2 families and it was a great experience. The serving staff was very accommodating and pleasant. We ordered the duck pizza, pasta, truffle fries, and a kids meal. Everything was delicious. I thought the duck pizza was the best food I ate at Quebec.
The food was excellent, my ever so picky children ate everything which may be the first time that has ever happened. The service was beyond excellent. They kindly made room for us even without reservations. The server was so kind and attentive. Wonderfully light atmosphere where I felt comfortable with my 3 children. One of my children is autistic and therefore I'm always nervous how people will respond to him and likewise how he will respond to the atmosphere. I never once felt judged, uncomfortable or worried for him. When we go back to visit your beautiful city, we will be sure to make a stop there again. Thank you for having us!
Probably the best Pizza that I have ever eaten. We tried 2 salads. Both were fantastic! Portions were generous.
Enjoyed the meal it was wonderful. Staff were engaging and attentive.
We love this location. Hostess gave my GF some short curly hair tips and Claudelle was wonderful with her English skills and service. Get in her section!
A nice modern ambiance. Good but not great food at a reasonable price. Friendly service with a few mistakes along the way. But an overall nice evening was enjoyed.
I’m sure the food is good, but unfortunately they are confused about how to accommodate a person with celiac and are providing bad guidance that could make someone very sick
Food is at best decent and way overpriced. Even worse, the barmaid offered terrible service and when we only left a 7% tip (my policy for crap service), she came out an yelled at us in front of the entire restaurant! "Mangez la marde!" She said! I think someone has been spoiled by tourist tips...please do not go here!
