Honestly, the first time I came here was Aug 2025, and I wasn’t that wowed by this place. We visited Montreal last week and craved soup dumplings, so I thought to give it a try again. Ughhhh the pan-fried dumplings were delicious, and the lamb coriander soup dumplings were addicting and just bursting with flavour. The pork/chive XLB were good too, but the lamb coriander XLB are definitely the stars of the show. There was a mix-up with the pan-fried dumpling, as a server accidentally gave our curry & beef to another table, so our server was super apologetic and professional. He gave us options: to take their order of pork & chive, or they can immediately start a new order of the curry & beef. Since we wanted to try the curry & beef and already had pork & chive XLB incoming, we elected for the latter option and our server completely understood. They came out super quickly. We came at a busy time, but we were lucky and able to be seated in less than 10 minutes.

The soup dumplings were good overall—I’d give them four stars. The flavor and texture were nice, and they were enjoyable to eat. However, the dipping sauce felt like it was missing one important ingredient: fresh cut ginger. I would recommend the owner consider adding fresh ginger to the dipping sauce. Especially with Canada’s very cold weather, having warm soup dumplings with soy sauce and fresh ginger would make the experience even better and more comforting.

I wish I could give this restaurant five stars however there was a continuous loud beeping sound like an alarm coming from the kitchen the entire time we were there which was about 45 minutes, it would stop sometimes for 30 seconds but would restart again and it was very high pitched it was uncomfortable for me to enjoy myself because of this I will not be coming back, even though the dumplings were absolutely delicious the staff was welcoming and courteous the food was just spectacular I wish there was no noise then I would definitely be back but otherwise I won't be returning. I recommend the spicy pork dumplings absolutely delicious I think I should have gotten two portions.

A simple dumpling cuisine in Chinatown area. It is not a big restaurant so there are not many tables. Service is good and quick. Staff are friendly. Wanton soup was nice for a cold weather in December. Xiao Long Pao (pork) was delicious. The premium Tomyam one was also tasty.

Best Xiao Long Bao in Montreal without a doubt, and rivals my favourite place back in Toronto where I live. Great flavour, good amount of soup, nice texture, and a fairly solid price as well. Also got the Red Bean Bao for dessert which IMO was a bit overpriced, but very tasty, with a good amount of filling. For the people this pertains to: BE WARNED COMING HERE DURING OTAKUTHON. It is literally impossible to get a seat here during Otakuthon, because everyone knows how good the dumplings are here (not impossible bur you have to wait upwards of 2 hours for a table, cause everyone knows how good this place is). Service is very fast and responsive and they speak both English and French.
