Salon Mogador is a wonderful dining experience with some great entertainment if you come for their show service. There are so many strong points to this place. First off, as soon as you step in you will see the place has been renovated with traditional Moroccan seating with some comfortable, decorative couches around the perimeter. The decor of the place is remarkably done to build the atmosphere. The hospitality is absolutely perfect-the server, owner and drummer were treating us like cousins. The lovely dancer was indeed a treat, she was so talented, lively and brightened up the entire room with her charm. The meal itself was delicious, the lamb was particularly enjoyable. Their use of prunes in one of the dishes was one of the best uses of the ingredient that I've ever had. This is a top destination if you are looking to try genuine Moroccan food in an authentic, traditional setting.

Good for test
We had a great experience at this authentic Moroccan restaurant. High quality food quality and the taste is super nice. The Pastilla in particular was exceptional. A bit on the pricer side, but 100% recommended.
Very good service
If we can put 10 stars instead of 5 I would put it on . Service taste atmosphere combine all of it together, and you got something out of this world.
Amazing food and environment 5stars
Best Moroccan food ever, excellent service, unique, beautiful and pleasant environment.
Very good Hospitality, Food was authentic and yum.
Amazing Moroccan food with great Moroccan ambiance and the service was excellent
We had dinner nearby and decided to stop in for dessert. After we ordered, the waiter served us and then said, “Next time, don’t come here just for dessert - we don’t allow that,” in front of other guests. It was embarrassing and came across as disrespectful. If this is a policy, it should be clearly communicated beforehand, as there was no mention of it on the website or menu.
Pros: - Great atmosphere and decent service. - halal menu (note: they no longer serve sandwiches). - Complimentary olives to start - Lamb with apricots and almonds was delicious. Paired with some hot sauce, it was the highlight dish. Wish it came with some couscous to make it a complete meal. Cons: - Small portion sizes for the prices they charge. Didn't feel full after leaving. - Couscous $5 extra (should just include it given the high price). - Mechouia was ok (again, small portion). Nothing special. - The chicken tajine with olives and lemons wasn't good. Chicken was extremely dry making it unpleasant to eat. - Not a fan of their bread. Very dense. - Food didn't taste as fresh as I hoped. Overall, I had high expectations going in but in the end, it was underwhelming to say the least and I likely won't be returning.
Nice place
Came around lunchtime; so we ate off the brunch menu. Our server explained the menu and made great recommendations. The dining room was comfortable. Everything I ate was delicious, and the prices were reasonable.
This restaurant was amazing from service to food to vibes. The owner is very hospitable and friendly. And the servers are kind. Also the meat and chicken are very tender and full of flavour. We had such a great experience the first time we had to come back again the next day. Absolutely loved the Moroccan food and culture. If they opened up a location in Toronto I would be there every weekend.
I went to this Moroccan restaurant with a Moroccan friend and tried their 4-course dinner for $30 per person. The place felt really authentic right away, especially with the classy decor that reminded him of his hometown. We started with Mechouia, a grilled pepper and tomato salad with garlic and olive oil, and Pastilla (which was $8 extra), a sweet-savoury puff pastry with chicken, almonds, eggs, cinnamon, and saffron honey. For mains, we had Royal Couscous with chicken, lamb shank, beef sausage, vegetables, and chickpeas, plus a chicken tagine with lemons and olives. Both were rich, comforting, and full of flavour. We ended with dark chocolate truffles and mint tea, which was refreshing and classic. Overall, it felt authentic, well-priced, and like a real taste of Morocco.

Great Moroccan spot with authentic flavors and a cozy atmosphere.
The kind of food that truly feels made with love—the people, the atmosphere, everything about this place is just perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again! 💕

Great experience. Warm and welcoming hosts. Must visit if you are in Montreal. We ordered Chicken Tajine and Pastillla both were 10/10
