Had a really great experience at Saffron! The food was delicious, fresh, and high quality. As someone who grew up in Iran, it was especially nice to taste Persian food that felt so close to what I remember from back home. Everything was full of flavor and felt authentic. The service was just as great. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and we really enjoyed our time there. Definitely one of those places that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for authentic Persian food in Montreal!

The serveurs are sweet, and the food was deliciousssss. I got the Baghali Polo va Mahiche and the meat was SO tender, I could scoop off the meat effortlessly with a spoon, the broth on the side was hot and fantastic. I would recommend it any day. The Kashk-e Bademjan with the bread was also fantastic!

What a beautiful experience from beginning to end! The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional. Staff : A solid 5 Stars + Incredibly kind and welcoming. If you are looking for a place where you feel like eating at a fiend's place or a family home, this is a place for you. The 2 ladies serving us were amazing. you don't feel like a trained person coming to you repeating some words with fake smile. You feel like someone who knows you and you know them, calmly, kindly and openly talking to you and serving you. Tea: 5 Stars Well prepared. Nice. Tahchin: 4.5 Stars Very well prepared and tuned. Well presented. That missing 0.5 star is because the chicken cuts had a bit of room for improvement (Seasoning, shape / cut and placement in the rice). Dizi ( Ab Goosht ) : 3 Stars Sides were good. Presentation was traditional enough. The food itself has a lot of room for improvement. I would manage the amount of fat and where its taken from, work on seasoning, work on beans to meat ratio, increase the amount of tomato paste ( I would fry it first ), and so on. To the dear chef: Here we don't get Dunba or Lamb Butt Fat as the original recipe calls for. And as you know, different body parts fat tastes and smells differently. I would trim more of that unnecessary fat. Koubideh : 2 Stars A lot of room for improvement. The meat was grounded way too much so that the texture was going towards a sausage, It was under salted and there was too much fat in it. To the dear chef: I ground 50% lamb ribs and 50% beef chuck , 25% red or yellow onion, with 1.2 max 1.3 percent salt. And I ground only once with a medium size plate (نخودی) . For restaurants, 2 is better and easier to handle. Don't go for 3, I think yours was like 4. Never ground the onion with meat, Never. I also understand the indoors cooking limitations on using charcoal but even on a gas grill , you can manage to get some of that smoke. Vaziri: 3.5 maybe 4 Stars for the Chicken part and max 2 Stars for the Koubideh part. Rice: 4.5 Stars - Really good . Ash Shoel Mashadi : 4.5 Stars. I would also recommend not to fill the water glasses before your customers arrive. Fill them when you bring them the menu. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. I would only and slightly organize the corridor.

We had a wonderful dining experience! The food was delicious, & fresh. The Gheymeh Nesar was fantastic, with a very generous portion that could easily feed two people. The Koobideh kebab was soft, juicy, and tender. I loved that the kebabs were served with Sangak bread. A special thank you to Maryam, who was such a kind, warm, and attentive server. Her hospitality made our experience even more enjoyable. Great food, generous portions, and lovely service. We will definitely be back!

We visited Saffron Restaurant on Friday night, and we had a wonderful experience! Based on our server’s recommendation, I ordered the Baghali Polo with Mahiche , and it was absolutely delicious. The food was amazing, and I really enjoyed every bite. The atmosphere was good , with a lovely Eastern touch that made us feel comfortable and relaxed. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made our evening even more enjoyable. Overall, my friend and I were very satisfied with our experience. We had a great time, enjoyed the food and atmosphere, and would definitely recommend Saffron Restaurant to others.

We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant! We ordered the mixed kebab platter, which included chicken kebab, Barg kebab, and Koobideh. Everything was absolutely delicious, tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. But The atmosphere was cozy, peaceful, and charming, and the staff were exceptionally kind, polite, and welcoming. To make the evening even more special, the restaurant surprised one of us, who was celebrating a birthday, with a complimentary dinner and delicious baklava. Such a thoughtful and generous gesture! Highly recommended! If you haven’t tried this restaurant yet, you definitely should. We will certainly be back!

Delicious food with good service. We tried 4 different meals (Gheyme nesar, koobidek, zereshk polo and tahchin) and all of them were well made and delicious. The portion was also very generous. All meals are served with either soup or salad. Personally I appreciated zereshk polo which was surprisingly good, better than what I cook myself. The tea was also very good, at the same level of what we brew at home. Ice cream and sole zard were also good with a reasonable amount of sweetness.
