Today was the first time i ordered from this restaurant and it was a take out order, I had to wait a little over 30 minutes to get my order but the guy on the counter was really nice and apologised for the delay but when i came home and tasted the food it was so delicious that it lifted my mood instantly, forsure will order again and call them a bit in advance.

Worst chicken biryani I have ever had. Raitha was excellent though. Why do you make it way too spicy but no flavour?

Hello Jo, we are really sorry for the experience that you had, we assure you that is not our intention when we serve our food. The biryani made in the traditional sense is typically spicy that is why it is always served with Raita, however the point is not to make it overly spicy where you can not even enjoy it and for that we apologize. It was a very bad experience with royal rasoyi we just now we ordered a dahi bhalla and chat papdi from uber it was my last order I will never order anything from there the bhalla was very hard too much and the chat papdi comes with only red sauce and it was very sour i didn’t complete my single spone I rate 2/10

I considered this place the best in Montreal for Indian cuisine and vibe; kinda desi; I specially went there today for Amritsari Kulcha and they made it like a Mirch Prontha; nobody can tolerate those spices; then they changed and I tried every angle and it was more spicy this time. So instead; they offered me a plain naan; like why? What I’m supposed to do with this; so I just paid and left. The way I used to appreciate this restaurant; recommended everyone; but today I’ll say nah; I was wrong. It was disappointing; spoiled my whole mood; and I was crying; bcoz I’m allergic to spices; and if my stomach issues started again bcoz of the spices; I’ll try to take action ahead.

Hello Isha, we are terribly sorry for the inconvenience we may have caused you. We strive on providing an optimal and authentic experience to all customers. The issue with that is that Indian food is traditionally meant to be spicy and can not be made to its highest quality without adding spicy ingredients. We did not charge you for any of the food you did not eat and the owners came to you and tried to accommodate your dietary restrictions. Despite that if you felt the food and service was not to your standard we apologize and would like you to come back and we can recommend dishes that can better suit your preferences. Yesterday, I had dinner in royal rasoi and restaurant was so busy but there is only one boy who is serving the Food, service was slow but the way he was serving the food was good and he was very friendly with me, and lastly he apologized too for slow service

Unfortunately, my dine-in experience at Royal Rasoi was very disappointing, mainly because of the poor customer service. There was no proper table service. Nobody came to our table to ask if we needed anything, check on our food, or see if everything was okay. We even had to wait for basic things like spoons and napkins, which should automatically be provided when serving food. Our food also took a very long time to arrive. When we asked about it, we were simply told that they were “busy.” I understand that a restaurant can get busy, but being busy shouldn’t mean that customers are left waiting without proper service or communication. It appeared that there were only one guy and one girl handling the entire restaurant, which clearly wasn’t enough to manage the number of customers. If the restaurant is consistently that busy, they should consider having additional staff to divide the workload and provide better service. The fish was delicious, and that was honestly the best part of our experience. Unfortunately, good food wasn’t enough to make up for the poor service and long wait. I would not recommend Royal Rasoi for dine-in based on my experience, and I won’t be coming back for dine-in. I hope they improve their staffing and customer service because the food has potential, but the service needs significant improvement.

Went to have lunch yesterday with my family, the food is incredible, we were there at noon, so atmosphere was "lunchtime", but service was excellent! We are enjoying the leftovers tonight!

Ordered amritsari khulcha today was so yummy … Even though i had to call them , and the girl attended the call so nice , met all the requirements as i wanted ,, Thank to that girl firstly & have a good day Will order soon again 💕

What a delight in every way! The server has been incredibly patient and respectful with me. I'm a bit deaf and can't understand the words even if I read them. But his patience was endless. The food is delicious! So flavorful. I struggle with any level of hot spices, but it's just too delicious 😆 The ambiance is soothing. The music was a gentle voice (not overly loud screams). So the other people and employee could speak gently. Like a comforting whisper. This is a good happy place, to relax, even after a bad day 😊 They'll make it better. Thank you.

Had a craving for butter chicken, white rice, and nann bread. This place popped up so I dropped in. A friendly smile from the kitchen and a lady took my order. Brought it home and it was amazing. The sauce, the bread....everything was on point. So if you are craving great food, give it a try. You do no have to go any further. Enjoy.

The Royal Rasoir has excellent Pakistani fare at very reasonable prices. This establishment is a special gem in LaSalle. Highly recommended. Bring your appetite and enjoy!

Usually order from here but the mixed vegetable dish changed. They’re now using frozen bagged vegetables (the corn/carrot/pea/bean one we all know…) and it doesn’t taste as good. I called to provide feedback and they hung up on me 😂
