Came here for my birthday, group of 6, Laurent took great care of us, excellent service. Food was great, atmosphere was lively. They only have one beer on tap from a brewer in Gaspé that was excellent. I’ll be back again.
Reviews / Ratings for Rôtisserie La Lune
Had such an incredible dinner here! Portion sizes and quality were very generous. Wine was lovely. Save room for dessert!
Loved all the appetizers, all super thoughtful and well done! Even it took so long for the waiter to explain them all, because for some reason they are all different portion sizes that makes no sense and wasn’t made clear on the menu. I don’t know what the initial intentions are, but it comes across to me as a dark pattern used to try to make certain menu items seem cheaper than they are. The rotisserie was decent, but I had higher expectations for a place that build its entire menu around it. The fries were amazing, even by Montreal standards! The gravy got so cold and congealed so quickly because it’s the winter, and they don’t have one of those boats with the candle underneath to keep it warm or something. Highly recommend investing in that! Had to re-ask for gravy multiple times.
Nice restaurant the bread was good. The chicken was missing seasoning and it smelled weird. Carrot cake was very good
Outstanding dinner at La Lune last night. My second visit and my boyfriend’s first. We grabbed seats at the bar, which honestly made the night. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely engaged. They guided us through the menu, checked in at the right moments, and kept the energy fun without ever rushing us. Service felt polished but relaxed. Cocktails to start were spot on. The specialty carrot appetizer was such a surprise in the best way. Tender carrots in a rich, savoury cheese sauce with that sharp little hit of gherkin style relish. The balance of creamy and tangy was so good. The deboned and stuffed chicken wings with mustard sauce were packed with flavour and perfectly cooked. Then we shared the rotisserie half chicken with the best crispy, golden French fries and fresh delicious coleslaw. Simple dishes done exceptionally well. We absolutely did not need dessert but ordered the carrot cake anyway and it was decadent and worth every bite. The space is beautiful without feeling stuffy. Great lighting, buzzy atmosphere, people enjoying themselves. It feels lively and special but still comfortable. All in all, such a fun night with delicious food and excellent service. Special call out to our exceptional bartender, Lambert. We had great drinks and got a great education just watching him work. We’ll definitely be back.
A little disappointed in my meal here we were 4 atm was great restaurant is very clean. Service is lacking and portions for fries and coleslaw are small. They say you can get refills but they never come to the table.
What a wonderful experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the warm and genuine welcome set the tone for a truly lovely evening. We selected classic appetizers and mains, each dish beautifully prepared, comforting yet refined, and faithfully representative of Québec cuisine. We love sitting at the bar, our server was attentive, personable, and genuinely helpful with thoughtful recommendations. The owner, an exceptional sommelier, was incredibly intuitive and seemed to know exactly what we would enjoy. She returned shortly with impeccable wine selections from her cellar simply fabulous. Dessert was equally outstanding. A fantastic spot for a date night or for gathering with friends and family. We will most definitely return.
Food was great except the chicken. I've seen better. And server tried to upsell us without our consent. Weird
Super tasty chicken with amazing gravy!
Impeccable service and a scrumptious meal. The server took us through the entire menu at his insistence, which was so appreciated to fully understand it and select what we wanted. The fries and rotisserie sauce are a highlight, along with the carrot cake. La Lune deserves its Michelin rec. Can’t wait to come back someday!
