It's not hard to make chicken but I guess you get complacent after doing it for so long. The coleslaw was good but that's it. The main reason I'm leaving a one star is because... 1) the bread is old and stale 2) the sauce...it tasted like, remembering what sand in my mouth on the beach tasted like. It wasn't gritty just tasted bad. 3) fries are meh 4) chicken was acceptable For 19$ with tip you expect a little more considering all the options in this little mall.

I DO NOT LIKE LEAVING BAD REVIEWS. But here I have no choice. Its well known that rotisserie shops and fried chicken restos, often buy discounted chicken, especially if business is slow or for whatever reason they feel the need to cut corners. Unfortunately for us , The chicken we got at Gicanu, was not just discounted, it was past the " best Before date" and then some. The chicken was cooked beyond what would be considered palatable, very likely to mask the smell and taste of the chicken, to such an extend that there was no moisture in the legs at all and when I sliced into the breast portion, the smell of turned chicken was immediate...having 40 years of cooking experience, I knew enough not to bother even trying it. I am very disapointed to say the least and would recommend that you avoid this kiosque at all costs unless you are a health inspector on the job. Serving this type of food is an insult to the consumer. I am very unhappy when I waste money like this, and this experience has insulted my intelligence and my sense of taste. You can see where the chicken ended up in the photo below.
