Looking for a great Italien restaurant, this one doesn't disappoint. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a large compfy terrasse available. We went for lunch and their lunch menu comes with a soupe or salad. They offer some great choices and the food is very good. Drinks are a little pricey but are good. We were looking to go on the rooftop terrasse but it only opens at 4pm. Will definitely be back to see the views.

We visited on June 5 for dinner, a reservation for 6 people seated on the restaurants terrace. First, I want to say that the food was excellent. Everything we ordered was delicious and perfectly prepared. I honestly have nothing negative to say about the kitchen. Unfortunately, the service and overall experience did not match the quality of the food, especially considering the restaurant's higher price point. There were several mistakes throughout the evening: -Wine was accidentally spilled all over our table. We ordered a bottle of wine, but were told it was unavailable. -We then selected another bottle, which was brought to the table. However, the staff also brought an additional wine recommendation without clearly explaining why it was being offered, whether it was intended as an alternative, or what the price difference was. The communication around this was confusing. -We ordered calamari/shrimp but were initially brought a soup instead. -While we were still eating the calamari and there was still one piece left on the plate, a staff member removed it without asking if we were finished. -We ordered a martini, but they were served in non-martini glasses. When we asked about it, we were told the restaurant did not have martini glasses. If a restaurant offers martinis, they should be served in appropriate glassware, especially at this price level. -Another disappointing issue involved parking. We were told we would receive 3 hours of complimentary parking. However, when we returned to the parking garage, we still had to pay $22 despite being within the 3-hour limit. We're not sure what happened, but it added to the frustration. The food was outstanding, but the service lacked attention to detail and professionalism. For a restaurant in this price range, I expected a much more polished and organized experience. I hope management addresses these issues because the kitchen is doing an excellent job, but the front-of-house experience needs significant improvement.

Not enough Waiters for all the tables and our meals did not come before we had to attend the 8 pm concert! All we had was a glass of wine! i have previously enjoyed my meals here so this was a great dissappointment!! Both for me and my guest!

Our party of 4 pre-booked expecting popularity of demand given event at Place Bell. We were seated at 5 pm opening. Beverage service delays then one meal discovered not ordered after three meals arrived confirmed our observations that staffing was a major issue. Our server answered our inquiries honestly , confirming our suspicions. Food was excellent. Service extremely disappointing.

This was without doubt the worst dining experience I have ever had. After my wife and I were seated, it took 20 minutes until a waitress came to our table to take our order. 40 minutes later our appetizer (a salad) had not arrive. I called over a manager who assured me that the salad and the entrees would be out shortly. 20 minutes later (which was 1 hour and 20 minutes after we had been seated) no food had arrived at our table. During the entire time there was no concern or apology whatsoever expressed by any staff member to us. We left, having not been served any food. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT! Shameful! (And shame on Courtyard by Marriot Montreal Laval for having such an abysmal restaurant at their hotel).

Very disappointing. Extremely slow service, we had to leave without our meal. Many angry people left without their order. Apparently there was an issue in the kitchen, but not declared until we asked where our meal was 90 minutes later. We were very calm, unlike many, and tried to console waitress who was in near tears. After our patience , we were not even offered a discount or comp. Unable to dine anywhere else, since our event did not let out until 11 pm . We also missed the opening of our event, as the bill was requested was slow in coming and incorrect!

We had reservations for 2 at 6:15pm. Was seated promptly on the terrace. No one came to fill the water glasses or tell us who was the waiter for 15 min. The server finally came and excused himself for the slow service because it was busy. After taking our order, it took over 20 min to get my friend’s beer. She also had to ask for bread. At 7pm, the server tells us that the kitchen is very busy and it should be coming shortly. At 7:20pm, we catch the attention of the server and ask for the bill. The server did not charge for the beer. We had a show starting at 8pm. He apologizes for the kitchen service. The whole experience was poor. The service staff took long to see us at the table. We had to ask for bread. It seemed he forgot about us. There was no food. The food barely trickled out of the kitchen. Never ever had such horrible overall experience. If I could, I would give 0 star.

Overall great restaurant, we were well welcomed by the hostess. The food was great and the pasta were fresh. We had an issue with one of the drink, but everything was handled well by the barmaid. However, unfortunately, the service provided by our male waiter on Sunday night was disappointing. We felt overlooked throughout the evening and received significantly less attention than other tables around us. It often seemed difficult to get assistance or check-ins, which affected our overall dining experience

The waiter Jonathan was great, the busboy and water girl were great as well. Only problem was the kitchen. We waited two hours for our food and my friend’s filet mignon was over cooked.

beautiful view and setting nice change from downtown Montreal, the staff was lovely but service was a bit slow, food was good and drinks were delicious!! underground parking available with 3hrs for free! would definitely recommend

The food was amazing as always. I’d like to also take the time to express how incredible Joseph’s service was. He truly went out of his way for us, was very attentive and professional all night. He’s the MVP there!

The food was excellent, the service was impeccable, the cleanliness was top-notch, and the prices were very reasonable. The music was a bit loud at first, but then it was turned down enough so that you could have a conversation with your partner.

If you have an event at Place Bell and thought about this restaurant as your diner before the event, save your money and your time. The service is super slow, the food isn’t good and they made mistakes in the order. It’s not worth the money at all and your time.

Food was extraordinarily delicious, the hostess was wonderful, courteous and professional, the service was a bit long though, our waiter kept helping us others and rarely came by or acknowledged us, took forever to be served our food, bus boys were quick and efficient, water cups always full, overall excellent experience, just sad the waiter was slow and did not acknowledge us.

What a great spot! The addition of a dj on weekends would make ambiance better in my opinion. But food and service was just great. Our waiter Nolan took very good care of us. We will come back for sure!

Unbelievable experience! First the service was impeccable. Philip was spot on with everything including a glass of ice with a small spoon for my grey goose. I had salmon and it delicious. Highly recommend!!! Philip tag teamed with Ghassan so ask for them. You won’t be disappointed. And exceptional value!!!

I had a good experience overall at this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was amazing—comfortable, clean, and perfect for spending time with family or friends. Prices are quite affordable, and the free parking for up to 3 hours is definitely a big plus. However, the service was quite slow—we had to wait a long time before receiving our meals, which was a bit frustrating. Also, the menu could use some improvement with more variety, and the portion size of the kids’ spaghetti meal was a little small. Despite that, I still recommend this place. I’ll definitely come back again and bring new people with me.

Recently went with party of 4 for my daughter's 15th birthday. We all had appetizers, drinks, mocktails, and full main courses. Food and service was excellent. Have been there a few times before for dinner and business lunches. Always a great experience. Underground parking definitely a plus.

I was delighted with how much FLAVOR was put in that food. Absolutely delicious satin gnocchi, excellent pollo (very moist chicken thigh) and even the focaccia was splendid with the "confit de tomates". Very friendly and helpful waiter and maître d'O. I definitely recommend this place.
