Reviews / Ratings for Rosie's Burgers - Mile End
I got the Rosie burger which was pretty good. Personally, it wasn’t anything absolutely mind blowing, it tasted like a very classic burger, but still tasty with fresh ingredients. The fries were actually really good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. One downside is that there’s not a lot of seats to dine-in, so if the place is busy, your only options is take-out if you don’t want to wait to sit down. I paid 22$ in total which I feel was a tiny bit too much for what I got, especially that it wasn’t anything crazy, but that might just be me. Overall though, it was a pretty good spot and I do recommend checking it out!
Simply perfect. simple burger but flavourful, simple crisp fries, took me back to a time before we had cellphones and the mourning doves were still singing.
Great place, love the food, great service by Rob and will definitely come back!
Great burger 10/10
Honestly, the videos ive seen online made me think that the people may have been paid to say all the good things they said, but today I was proven wrong. I went with the BBQ burger combo with onion rings, The Rosie combo with fries, a spicy chicken sandwich as well as a honey mustard dip and a buttermilk ranch dip. The meal was nothing short of freakin' delicious. The only flaw I could find was in the spicy chicken sandwich. It felt like it didn't have as much going for it like the other 2 burgers did. The meat inside of The Rosie and the BBQ burger was juicy and well seasoned. The Rosie sauce had a strong impact on the flavors. The American cheese they use accentuates everything to create a perfect burger. The BBQ, in my opinion was just a little overpowering, but otherwise, nothing wrong with it. Afterwards, I got a banana pudding and an oreo milkshake. The banana pudding was, as advertised, banana pudding. It tasted great and the most important part was that it wasn't too sweet. As someone who doesnt like bananas, this was very pleasant. The banana pieces, the graham crumbs and the pudding itself complemented eachother well and brought it all together. The oreo (cookies and cream) shake was also good. It was a bit sweeter and some oreo chunks were stuck on the bottom of the cup, which I had just a bit of trouble getting. Overall, Rosie's burgers is a great burger joint. From the food to the desserts, everything was just about perfect. Of course, the food is just a tad pricey but I find that it was worth it. Around $80-ish was spent today. I also have a peanut allergy and what I tried today had none of it. :) PS. Try the buttermilk ranch. Its great.
Very good smashburger!
Burgers were very ok, nothing special. They lacked some flavour. The place is packed and quite tight, good for pick up only.
One of the best smash burger I’ve eaten in Montreal!
Very tasty and simple fooood. How its supposed to be. Rosie sauce is tasty so i reccomend the party beef burger ! The original chicken burger is also very good and chicken is seasoned well ! And ofc we got the banana pudding which was super tasty and creamy. Will def go back.
Really nice place. The facilities are clean and up kept. We spilled our coke and the gentleman working there offered us a new one and cleaned up after us, even in a rush. The service is speedy. The food is incredible. The music and atmosphère are great. The prices are right. The chicken burger and fries are one of a kind.
The Rosie Smashburger is soo good. The bun is buttery and pattys are juicy. I found the double patty Rosie burger very filling alone. We also ordered their half onion rings and half fries, very good too. They were soft and thick. I dont know any other place that does these kinds of fries so, it was a good change. We also had their chocolate milkshake and that, that was delicious. It was very velvety and we loved it. It was made with 2% milk and the chocolate taste was so rich. Their burgers are obviously pricey but I would pay for their burgers. The place also has high chairs against the walls, not many though and it would be better to take out.
Staff was super kind. The food was so so fresh. Great place for a ash burger.
Absolutely delicious smash burgers. Original chicken sandwich was great as well. Will def be my go to burger spot.
Delicious!
Stopped by and shared a burger with the kids. I'm not a fan of thin paddies, but that was great and juicy. The kids loved it too!
Really good burgers and music, super nice staff.
Tons of fake reviews here, as we see more and more with these generic chain "restaurants". So I need to write this review to balance out the BS. Terrible burger, the worst we've had in a long time, it's sad to see these types of industrial food joints come into the neighbourhood. For a 9 year old to hate a burger requires a special commitment to cutting corners and bad quality ! To think this was QDC, big shoes to fill, which it fails at miserably. And least of all, it ain't cheap! Don't bother with this place. PS: watch the automated corporate reply to this comment, hyphens included 😂
Definitely coming back to try a milkshake. I loved the burger and banana pudding !
We found this spot randomly, and couldn't be happier! A nice gem to add to the Mile-End area. Food was great and not too heavy (perfect for lunchtime), music selection set the tone and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be making this part of my lunchtime routine.
THE BANANA PUDDING IS TO DIE FOR!!!! We got Le Rosie(smash burger) so so sooo good!! I love that it’s not greasy also very balanced with the lettuce and tomatoes. The Staff are very nice especially the guy in front, very welcoming and like I said you have to get the banana pudding(better than Duc de lorraine’s) :>
Amazing burger and onion rings Just missing a little bit of saltiness
Such a wonderful experience here and so yummy! the banana pudding was incredible and the smashburger was perfection!
Really good burgers and fries ! Kind staff as well !
Rosie was exactly what we were hoping for. We came in wanting a great smash burger, and not only did we get one, but we also had the pleasure of meeting an amazing manager, a great dad, and overall a genuinely great person. Al was incredible. The service was excellent, he was super patient, and it’s clear how passionate he is about the business and the experience he gives his customers. The smash burger was absolutely smashing, the fries were A1, and the milkshake and banana pudding… wow. So, so good. Highly recommend this place. Tim
