We made a reservation for four people at 5:30 Saturday night. When we arrived, it was clear that there was an issue. The person who met us at the door wanted to know who we made the reservation with. We made the reservation with the person who answered the phone. There was no mention of the event that night. The woman was obviously not happy, but we were seated and told there was a show starting at 8:00, and would have to be done by then. 2 1/2 hours for dinner would have been more than enough time, but the service was extremely slow. I'm not talking about the wait staff, I'm referring to the length of time it took for us to receive our meals. We felt rushed and it was hard to enjoy our meal with the deadline looming. The food was average, but the atmosphere was terrible. We'd made the reservation Thursday. We were definitely made to feel that we were the problem.

My wife’s and I went to Rosalynn’s Bistro for a Valentine’s Day dinner. We both chose the same main course item from the Table d’hôte, the Chicken Marsala. The fixed price menu provided us with two appetizers ( an artichoke dip and a tomato bisque). They were both very good. We both loved our Chicken Marsala, with vegetables. These main courses were excellent and the portions were very generous. Although we were both pretty full from our appetizers and main courses, we pushed ourselves to continue with the desserts. My wife took the chocolate cake and I had the cheesecake. The desserts were great as well. All of the dishes were made on-site and of high quality. During the meal, we had wine and a locally-brewed Brauwerk Hoffman beer (excellent!). For what we had at Rosalynn’s Bistro, the price was quite reasonable. The evening mas made all the better by our excellent server, Kathia. She was very helpful with information about the dishes and suggestions. She has a great personality that shines through when she serves. Kathia has a great sense of humour and manages to ensure everything she served was done efficiently, coupled with her warm personality. The meal we had was great and Kathia’s service was equally great and very impressive. Next time we return to Rosalynn’s Bistro we will try to get a table where Kathia is serving us!

All was good. They were short staffed during our meal, the one that Sharon was complaining about in the review before me. The comedians were great, owner was very pleasant and they did what they could in this unforeseen staffing scenario. Sharon, we did not miss you when you huffed and puffed, then left. Thank you.

Way too expensive 65$ for two bite steak and Three bite lobster two small Potato and one pièces carotte nahhhh last Time for me
